Come sit back, relax, and enjoy a beachfront condo vacation in North Myrtle Beach! This unit is on the 5th floor.

- One of the biggest oceanfront balconies on the beach with a stunning view of the ocean, Cherry Grove Pier, sunrises and sunsets over the ocean.

- The kitchen, living room, and master bedroom each have eight foot sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony. We love to relax out there and watch the people, dolphins, and ocean.

-The unit is tile throughout with an updated, fully-equipped kitchen with blender, toaster, dishwasher, ice maker, gadgets, etc.

-Short walk to the Cherry Grove Pier, grocery store, and oceanfront bars and restaurants.

- I am willing to rent to well-behaved pet owners - please let me know ahead of time what type of dog you are bringing (fees apply).

-Towels and Sheets are provided for a $120 fee. Please let me know if you'd like to add this service to your stay.

Great family vacation

The location is great and the view is gorgeous. Condo is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Nice big balcony to relax on and enjoy the views of the ocean and beach.

Another great stay

We have stayed in the Shalimar the last few years and love it. Fantastic corner room for looking at the ocean and beach and dog friendly makes the unit perfect. We like the location being a bit less busy but still close to everything. Scott is a pleasure to work with and I wish we could stay longer. Looking forward to next year.

Pictures depicted actual property. Loved the ocean front balcony and rocking chairs, perfect for late afternoon and evening. It was a wonderful vacation spot. Close enough to attractions without all the traffic and crowds of Myrtle Beach. 😀😎🤗

Nice place - great balcony

Everything was as described. The balcony is large. We had a perfect view of fireworks on July 4th. Great communication with the owner. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Healing Holiday

We love this location so much that this is the third year we’ve stayed here. Having endured the trauma of Tropical Storm Helene, we found the respite of Unit 5A a perfect healing place which met that need. The placement of power strips around the unit was a great and appreciated improvement!

Oceanfront Condo

This condo is very comfortable. It provided plenty of space for our group of 5. The kitchen is supplied well for preparing meals. The large oceanfront patio has nice seating for everyone. The property owner responds quickly to any questions. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo.

Great property!

We had such a lovely time here. We bring our two dogs with us and the property is great for that. We love the quietness, convenience to the beach and local restaurants and grocery store. The facility is older but very clean and well-maintained. Scott is wonderful to work with. We definitely plan on returning.

Very homey!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great if you want to be out of the bustle. We felt very safe in the area. The condo itself feels so homey and the layout is such that you're not tripping over each other all the time. I would book again just for the big balcony! Everything was clean and the beds were comfy, too. Thanks again, Scott!

Another Perfect Vacation

We have stayed in both of Scott's units over the last 6 years or so. This time we stayed in 5A. It always feels like we're coming home when we stay at Shalimar. The units are so spacious, with everything we need for a comfortable vacation. One of our favorite aspects is the balcony overlooking beautiful Cherry Grove Beach and the pier. Scott is very accessible and makes sure his guests are well-taken care of. We have many reasons for continuing our relationship with Scott.

Family Beach Time

We stay here every year and love it. Our sons and their wives (1 Granddaughter) had a house in Holden Beach but, both boys & theirs came and stayed 2 nights with us. This condo is always excellent. It is always clean and this year it had been painted. Last year it had the old jetted tub replaced with a walk-in shower that is great! We always feel like this is our condo. This is our favorite place at the beach.

Family vacation with dog

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and accommodations. The only major problem we encountered was that the elevator was broken down daily, we were on the fifth floor, and two of us are over 65 and have knee and hip complications. The day of checkout required three trips up and down the stairs to get packed up for departure. The maintenance man, Tony, was wonderful! The place was clean and everything we expected. The listing did say there was a hot tub as an amenity, but there is not one on the property. Overall, the trip was fantastic!!!

Perfect condo and oceanfront view.

We had an amazing week in condo 5A. Even though there were elevator issues this week, Scott was very responsive and even offered to help us unload our vehicles, up 5 flights of stairs. (Wow, we've never had a property owner be so courteous!!). Thankfully the issue was fixed and we couldn't have asked for a better week!. If you want the most beautiful view from the large balcony, then this is the condo for you!! We will definitely be back!

Good condo

We enjoyed our stay. It would have been better if the pier was open. No issues with the condo other than dishwasher didn’t work. The elevator was broken at checkout but the building manager fixed it quickly. Bringing our own sheets and towels was a bit cumbersome. Great view with big rockers on the balcony. No toaster but the oven worked well. Big clean fridge and the ice maker was fast. Loved the walk-in shower.

Great views and location.

We were looking for a place where we could relax and enjoy views of the ocean. This location has both. Great views from a good sized balcony. The space is perfect for a small group or family with good sized rooms and space. The location is really convenient to stores, restaurant, and beach access. With that said, there are a couple items that could use some attention. The living room furniture is almost not usable as it is completely uncomfortable. I saw reviews the owner stated new furniture was on its way, so that would have been nice for our visit in late November. In general, the window treatments and sliding screen doors are in need of replacement. Great location and with a little updating, would be highly recommended.

The Week at Cherry Grove

The property is in a great location. Very quiet section of beach and walking distance to many things. The deck furniture - rocking chairs and table - were great. The kitchen was pretty well stocked - just maybe need more silverware. Only negative comments would be that the living room furniture desperately needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. Also the sliding screen doors had several holes and were almost impossible to slide. The pictures on the website were a bit confusing in that two pictures of the living room showed two different sets of furniture and several pictures showed red cushions on the deck chairs, and there were none.

Great corner balcony ocean views, looking both ways up and down the beach, including Grand Strand, from master bedroom, living room and kitchen. I love the location of the building, close enough to local stores and amenities, but on a quiet block. Great beach access and easy parking. I'd highly recommend this place for others looking for a good place to stay on the beach.

Why they chose this property

We originally chose Shalimar in 1997 because of its "small building, small crowds." The building always has friendly owners/renters and the beach is not overcrowded. We were also drawn to the panoramic views from the kitchen, living room, and the master bedroom. It has always felt like a second home.

What makes this property unique

Short walk to Cherry Grove Pier, Boulineau's, and local nightlife. Short drive to Main Street of North Myrtle Beach with various shopping, restaurants, and bars. Walkable Black Pearl Mini Golf Course - complete with sweet treats and arcade!
