Wonderful holidays in a romantic secluded place

We stayed in Maison Colombage for three weeks in September 2017 and felt very well, similar to our first stay there in 2015. We love the secluded location of the house close to the river Tarn and far away from traffic and noise. The interior decoration in the tastefully restored old house is fantastic with antique furniture and plain brick walls. So the label "Maison de Charme " is really appropriate. The garden, however small, is lovely with its swimming pool and nice shady veranda. So you do not have to sit in the burning sun, but can relax in the shade. Durestat is a very good starting point for excursions into all directions. Among other places we enjoyed Montauban, Castres, Rodez, Villefranche de Rouergue, Sauvetrerre de Rouergue, St Antonin Noble Val, Montricoux with the beautiful Marcel Lenoir Museum and of course Albi and Gaillac, which are a bit closer. Shopping is very easy with all sorts of supermarkets in Gaillac and the wonderful market in Albi. We really enjoyed our stay and will perhaps return again some other year. Maison ancienne rénovée avec goût, bien équipée. Jardin clos, très agréable et intime. Beaucoup de calme, mais tous les commerces en deux minutes au village de Marssac. Bref un super gite.

Monsieur, J'ai bien compris que vous aviez passé un mauvais moment dans la région et je suis désolée que vous soyez venu pendant l'épisode de canicule rouge avec des températures inhabituelles et extrêmes, où même le Préfet du Tarn a demandé que les enfants n'aillent pas à l'école sur ces 3 jour. Dommage que la chaleur ne vous ai pas permis de visiter les bastides, et découvrir notre belle région du Tarn. Cependant vos différentes remarques appellent des éclaircissements de ma part: En temps de canicule, toutes les maisons sont chaudes et les volets que vous aviez fermés pour éviter le surchauffement de la maison ont dû rendre la maison sombre. Vous aviez à disposition deux ventilateurs à l'étage dans les chambres que vous n'avez pas utilisé. La piscine a une belle dimension de 6x4, ce qui était précisé dans le descriptif de la location lorsque vous avez réservé. Elle est nettoyée tous les jours. Le gite n'est pas excentré: il est idéalement situé, en pleine campagne, près de la rivière Tarn à 50 mètres et au centre du Triangle d'Or de la Toscane Occitane, à proximité des 3 principaux sites d'intérêt du territoire avec Albi (11 km) et sa cathédrale et son musée Toulouse Lautrec, Gaillac (9km) sa cave et son vignoble millénaire et Cordes sur ciel (18 km) et sa cité médiévale perchée, sans oublier les Bastides de Castelnau de Montmirail (9 km) , les villages médiévaux de Penne et de Puycelsi. J’espère que vous aurez l’occasion de revenir dans notre belle région avec un temps plus clément afin de la redécouvrir sous un autre œil. Je reste dans l'attente du chèque de paiement du ménage de fin de séjour non effectué et de la location de draps .

Maison de charme idéalement située

Très belle maison ancienne idéalement située entre Albi et Gaillac. Point de départ idéal pour visiter le Tarn. Environnement calme. Piscine très agréable (dommage que nous ayons dû la nettoyer à notre arrivée). Excellent séjour.

Chère Madame Merci pour vos commentaires , la maison est en effet idéalement placée et très agréable . La piscine est traitée intensivement au chlore choc et nettoyée au fond et sur les parois par un robot professionnel entre deux locations et nous laissons en plus un robot semi automatique a disposition a coté de la piscine . Peut être que les végétaux entourant le bassin et le vent ont envoyé des feuilles et poussière avant votre baignade .

Sehr schönes Haus mit Charme

Bei unserem Aufenthalt Anfang September hat uns die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in dem Haus mit Pool sehr gut gefallen. Dieses Haus ist toll renoviert, der alte Charme wird sehr gut hervorgehoben. Die Ausstattung ist mit viel Geschmack ausgewählt. Im Haus findet sich tolles Infomaterial für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Diese haben wir gerne in Anspruch genommen. Die Landschaft mit ihren kleinen Ortschaften ist einfach fantastisch. Anne ist sehr hilfsbereit, der Kontakt war sehr gut.

Excellent location for Albi with beautiful views

We loved the location of this unique property with beautiful views of the river. Very quiet with nature surroundings. Our dog felt at home and we could leave her in the big garden while we were out. Anne is very helpful and accommodating our needs. We liked it so much we are coming again for Christmas with the whole family.

Magnifique maison de caractère superbement rénovée , proche d Albi,de magnifiques villages classés et au milieu des vignes de Gaillac.Un vrai bonheur agrémenté d’une piscine privative reposante .
