Stone house in the south ARDÈCHE located in a small typical hamlet in the town of FAUGERES (07230). Les VANS / JOYEUSE sector (12 km from Joyeuse, 12 km from Les Vans, 32 km from Aubenas 30 km Vallon Pont d´Arc.)

90 m² on two levels:
Ground floor: Large living room of 45 m² opening onto the terrace (open kitchen, dining room, living room and toilet). Upstairs: 2 large bedrooms (1 bedroom with 1 canopy bed for 2 people, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed plus a convertible sofa), bathroom with toilet and washing machine.
A large south facing terrace of 80 m² and garage.

For your comfort, the cottage is equipped with an open kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, coffee and kettle, a TV with screen flat, a sofa in the living room (not convertible).
The terrace is very pleasant with its wisteria and its shaded dining area. A second sunny dining area will allow you to enjoy the view of the Cévennes and Mont Ventoux with barbecue, garden furniture and deckchairs.

I leave 2 men's mountain bikes available, a HiFi amplifier with CD player, a large library

Beautiful retreat

The location and property were just what we hoped. Near enough to small towns for great food markets while being on the edge of some lovely wild country . Full of rivers and mixed woodland. The hosts are exceptional and actually saved our holiday with their kindness and local contacts. We will definitely be back.

One of our most memorable holidays ever

We love to spend our holidays the most authentic way possible! What we found here was a house we almost felt at home from day one. As early birds we loved to have a coffee on the spacious terrace. We enjoyed the remoteness as you don’t hear any sign of civilisation, neither day nor night. It is the perfect base to explore the region. You can easily reach Nîmes in 90 min. Thank you, Jean-Claude for this amazing opportunity.

Fabulous hospitality in a gite full of rustic charm

We loved our stay in Jean-Claude and Flo's lovely old cottage. Everything was as advertised and the accommodation was spacious and well appointed. The view from the terrace is gorgeous! The location is remote, with the nearest village about 10 min drive away, but if you are after peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, and country charm then this is the place for you. What makes it even more special is the warm welcome from Jean-Claude and Flo. They could not have been more helpful and generous with their time and knowledge. They even took us out hiking one day to a special river valley known only to the locals. They are rightfully very proud of their little piece of the Ardeche - we recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you again JC & Flo for your wonderful hospitality!

Ideal pour un séjour au calme

Charmante maison de pierre avec vue époustouflante jusqu'au Mont Ventoux. Magnifique terrasse, gîte très bien équipé et tenu. Hôtes très accueillants et disponibles. Maison à l'écart des sentiers battus, mais très accessible. Nous recommandons vivement.

Super vacances, lieux magnifiques

Nous avons passé une semaine à la hauteur de nos espérances, cottage correspondant à l'annonce, super vue, très agreable le matin et le soir, la region est magnifique. Les coins de baignade sont nombreux, si on se donne la peine de chercher, certains sont accessible en canoë. À voir la grotte de Chauvet, émotion garantie...je ne m'y attendait pas à se point! Il y a tellement de truc à faire...pas le temps en une semaine. Attention, à chaque ballade faut la voiture avec des bons freins et des bons pneumatiques. On est sur des routes de montagne! Mais c'est tellement beau!

Natur pur

Wir haben 3 Wochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt benötigt. Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte bequeme Betten. Gleich vom Haus aus gab es mehrere Möglichkeiten zu wandern. Außerdem war das Haus ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge. Wir bedanken uns bei Jean-Claude für seine Gastfreundschaft. Er war immer als Ansprechpartner erreichbar. Wir denken gerne an die Wanderung mit ihm zurück, bei der er uns die Schönheiten des Gorges du Chassezac zeigte. Margrit und Manfred

Natur und Erholung pur

Wir haben eine Woche in Faugères in dem Haus verbracht und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und groß. Die Materialien und die Einrichtung zeigen, dass die Besitzer einmal selbst darin gewohnt haben. Es hat eine wunderbare Aussicht und ist so ruhig, dass alleine dies bereits Urlaub ist. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank Jean-Claude und Flo, es war sehr schön bei euch!!!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Alles hat hier gestimmt, das schöne, geschmackvoll gestaltete Haus, die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Jean- Claude, die völlige Ruhe und schöne grüne Landschaft. Schwimmen in den nahegelegenen Flüssen war ein Genuss. Die Gegend hat aber soviel zu bieten, dass ein Urlaub nicht reicht. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Ruhig und gemütlich

Das Gebäude ist genauso, wie beschrieben und liegt schön abseits in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Jean Claude war sehr bemüht und hätte uns sicherlich mehr geholfen, hätten wir Hilfe gebraucht. Aber das war nicht nötig, denn alles war bestens: die Küche gut ausgestattet, Schlafzimmer und Bad sauber und WLAN funktionierte auch. Zum Wandern gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, auch direkt vom Haus aus, also alles bestens! Danke, Jean Claude!

Sehr schönes Haus zum wohlfühlen

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem Haus von Jean-Claude verbracht. Der spektakuläre Blick von der Terrasse, die Ruhe und die wunderschöne Natur drumherum waren der optimale Ort um zu entspannen und Ruhe zu finden. Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und sehr gut geschlafen. Jean Claude und Florence haben uns viele Tipps und Informationen über die Umgebung mitgegeben und es war sehr schön beide kennen gelernt zu haben. Vielen Dank für die sehr gute Betreuung und die wunderschönen zwei Wochen bei euch

Toutes les conditions réunies pour un beau séjour, l'environnement magnifique, l'accueil de Monsieur Malard et sa disponibilité, ses conseils pour mieux découvrir la région, le gîte confortable où rien ne manque, la vue superbe de la terrasse, le calme, aucune surprise désagréable.
