We had an enjoyable stay at Old Malthouse. The property was just as described when we booked. Was comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Good location for visiting the area. Countryside, coast, towns and villages all close by.

The notley arms pub was literally a 30 second walk away which served great food,and Caroline and Simon were great hosts. On the whole was a lovely location and cottage. Would love to know a bit more history about the cottage and village.

We never met the host they contacted us by text, the area where the house was is lovely but the place its self was in need of a good clean and update on eveything curtains were hanging of some were thread bare carpets need replacing to be truthfull the whole house wants a good decorating.
