We spent a very relaxing week in tis wonderful stone house which is located in a beautiful park area surrounded
by hortensias and old trees. Our teenage boys enjoyed the big garden/park to play football and our dog enjoyed fetching frisbees, while the older ones enjoyed reading a book in the shadow of one the old trees.
The beach and the center of douarnenez are only a footwalk away (20min, 30min).Douarnenez is a very nice village, quite original and not touristically overcrowded yet.
You'll find nice places to eat and watch the sailboats at the 3 harbours, of which we enjoyed especially the crêperie Gourmand'Ys at Petit Port, the fish and chips place at Port Rhu and the l'Amuse Louche.
We also prepared meals at home, because the kitchen is very well equipped, and had nice barbecues outside in the evening.
For lovely (breizh-) bread and croissants in the morning, we took the car to the boulangerie Le Fournil de Ploaré in Douarnenez.
The communication with Sandrine in french was uncomplicated and easy.
We can absolutely recommend this place for summer holidays and would love to come back.
