Charming apartment in the heart of the city in Aix-en-Provence.

Bright two-room apartment 40 m2 completely renovated for 1 to 4 people. Very well equipped independent kitchen.

Our apartment is located in the heart of the city of Aix en Provence.
Very close to the Town Hall, in a pedestrian street.
Every day a small vegetable market within 5 minutes on foot and 3 times a week a large vegetable, clothing and 'flea' market, always within 5 minutes on foot.

There are also many restaurants, casual or gourmet, nearby.
You will also find, a little further down our street, a grocery store if you prefer to cook.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the equipment you may need, appliances (hotplates, fridge, toaster, microwave and dishwasher).

We are classified 2 * Furnished Tourism by the Prefecture of Bouches du Rhône.

We stayed for one month. We had a wonderful stay. The host is gracious and the apartment was both clean and adequately equipped. The location, close to one of the markets (a very nice one), is excellent and very central. We felt very much at home in the apartment.

Loved the central location, the warmth and friendliness of the hosts and how well equipped with basics that the flat had! Oil, salt and pepper, toilet paper and shampoo. It just made it easier to have items to start with!

Wonderful place to stay, great host

This is a great place to stay! It is centrally located and you can walk everywhere. Fanny is an outstanding host who sees that your stay runs well. We stayed two weeks and recommend this charming apartment for your visit to Aix.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Excellent communication with the owner. It was our error, we had assumed that “parking available” meant we had a designated parking space but this is not the case. There is an underground car park very near the apartment though.

Wonderful Property in Perfect Location

This comfortable, clean and secure apartment is ideally located in the centre of Aix and is thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need including a washing machine. Our host Fanny is charming and always prompt and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Old world charm in the old city

Close to everything

This was an excellent location for our stay in Aix. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed shopping at the markets, which were very close by. Fanny communicated with us leading up to our stay to make sure our stay would be enjoyable. We recommend this apartment if you are looking to stay in Aix.

Very convenient and well-appointed apartment

Beautiful apartment with perfect location in the old city center (vieux centre ville), convenient to museums, open-air markets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Has a well-equipped kitchen, artfully arranged space, and comfortable bed. The owners are interesting and gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

A cheerful visit in the best location. In the center of Aix life!!

I have only positive comments for Fanny and for this experience. My teenage granddaughter and I felt secure and very comfortable. Fanny and Jean were very helpful and truly cared for our well-being. Their cheerful hospitality added to the positive experience. We looked forward to the comfort of home after each exciting day in Aix. Yes, I want to go back.

Wonderful apartment

We spent eight delightful days in Fanny’s apartment, centrally located in the heart of Vielle-Ville Aix-en-Provence.The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped with two burner hot plate, small fridge, microwave and kettle. We enjoyed the ability to make simple meals while at the same time enjoying some of the many restaurants in the city.The bed is comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. We especially appreciated Fanny’s excellent communication both before and during our stay- and we’re grateful for the bottle of rose awaiting us in the fridge.One note: the apartment is up several narrow flights of stairs. We are 71 & 75 and could manage, but anyone with mobility issues might have difficulty.We would happily stay here again if in Aix!

Das Appartement ist mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Von dort ist man zu Fuß bei den schönen Märkten und kann ewig durch die Gassen schlendern. Die Gastgeberin Fanny war super lieb und hat tolle Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt!

Super zentral

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung liegt zentral in einem recht kühlen Altbau mit vielen Restaurants und Bars direkt vor der Tür. Bad und Küche sind bestens ausgestattet. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Klima-Anlage, die (wie in der Beschreibung angegeben) "tragbar" ist, d.h. immer nur in einem der beiden Räume (Wohnzi oder Schlafzi) laufen kann und zudem nur bei offenem Fenster.

A Wonderful Stay…

I have fallen in love with Aix-en-Provence; simply a perfect place for me to be! My apartment was charming and the location was minutes from the Hotel de Ville and the glorious markets. Fanny and Jean were the consummate hosts and we spent some lovely time together.

Une belle semaine à Aix dans un appartement vraiment idéal à tous les points de vue pour prendre connaissance de cette belle ville. Situation idéale pour visiter les musées, les expos, proximité des commerces et des restaurants. Prévoir tout de même des boules quiess pour certaines soirées estudiantines, nous sommes dans le sud, les gens vivent à l'extérieur le soir, surtout quand la météo est propice. Un petit bémol qui n'enlève en rien ni à la qualité de l'hébergement , ni au plaisir de découvrir cette belle ville.

Functional, spacious unit with outstanding proprietor

First off, Fanny is an outstanding and responsive proprietor who is easy to communicate with and very helpful. Secondly, the unit is well stocked with utensils in a very functional stovetop kitchen with dishwasher; has a large living/dining area including a small pullout couch; a decent-sized bathroom with strong shower, washing machine, and space for toiletries; and a decent-sized doublebed room with closet and drawer space. Location is minutes on foot from two town center squares and farmer markets. Grocery store just down the street. Great value at such an affordable rate; my wife and I stayed two weeks and cooked-in half the time for dinner. Only caveats: (1) Old Aix is replete with old buildings with winding, steep stairs, heavy entry doors and gates, and no elevator; this is one of them. (2) Old Aix streets are noisy well into the wee hours; closing the thick-paned windows helps. For the price and location, a good value.

Great location, very helpful host

The location was perfect - just step out your door to enjoy restaurants and shopping and a quick walk to Cours Mirabeau. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.
