Private, secluded 2 bedroom/1 bath upstairs apartment located just steps from the sand and surf. Remodeled with a modern kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Located on the Long Beach peninsula, the location is a favorite getaway for travelers who like beautiful uncrowded beaches yet is still close to renowned 2nd St. shops and restaurants. The fully equipped apartment is ideal for a longer term business stay or a relaxing vacation rental. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other a bunk bed in a room that also features an upright piano. The living room, with beautiful green slate floors, has a large sectional sofa and club chair grouped around a widescreen TV. A small dinette table can be converted from 2 to 4 diners. The kitchen also has a sit-up bar with two additional stools.

If you have work at the Port, downtown, or the university this is an ideal spot for a business traveler. If you're a sailing family we are minutes from ABYC and have frequently hosted Olympic sailors and coaches as well as regatta participants from across the country. If you're looking for the perfect beach spot in-between Los Angeles and Orange County this is it. Whether visiting friends and relatives or are just in need of a quiet, relaxing environment - this is a prime location.

Great stay

Great location only a half block from the bay beach and a block to the ocean. The bay beach is very quiet and calm! Our hosts were helpful and very responsive. My kids loved the bunk beds. The bathroom is on the older side, but everything worked.

Close to ABYC!

We were in town for ABYC Labor Day Regatta. Super close to the beach, bay and pacific sides. Well equipped kitchen served well to prepare quick family dinners.

A great new adventure

The family and I were eager for a new experience and got it! Our stay was scenic without the tourist aspect of it all. This part of the peninsula was perfect for us. Tim and his wife are awesome.

Vacation-family of 4

The place was fantastic. It is 30 yards from the beach on the bay and less than 100 yards from the ocean side beach. The apartment is well equipped with good size bedrooms. Host was easy to communicate with and provided all the information at check in. Place is only 30 min from Disneyland. Would stay there again.

Wonderful home, wonderful location!

We had the best time staying in Long Beach. The house is perfect and had everything we needed. Neighbourhood is so quiet and wonderful. Parking was never an issue, though we didn’t leave neighbourhood often. Stone-throw from beach (which is where we spent most of our time). We would love to stay here again!

Oasis

The rental sits in between the bay and the ocean. Even during the off season, it was nice to walk on the beach. The rental has everything you need and Tim is friendly and attentive. Thank you!

Great space near the beach

Great space within easy walking distance of beaches and ABYC. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery, silverware, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable. Parking on the street was easy as not many others were visiting the beaches in March. Laundry down the street was easy to find and use (bring your own pods).

Last minute family trip.

Tim made our stay very easy. And we would stay here again if the opportunity arose. The communication before our stay was a quick response to our reservations. Get clear instructions and directions. Once there this property is one of the best stocked we've stayed in. Amazing kitchen supplies, both for cleaning and cooking. And plenty of linens and towels. Very clean with simple check in and check out. We highly recommend this property and owner.

Secluded Beach Neighborhood

This property exceeded my expectations. It is located on a private peninsula with easy parking and very little traffic, less than one block from a quiet beach. Our family of three (mom/dad with our 2-year-old) enjoyed having our own rooms to sleep in and a kitchen to prepare meals. There was a bookshelf of books, including children's books, that our child enjoyed. Our host, Tim, was a great communicator as well.

Perfect!

Hosts were great - available but not hovering. Location was amazing, minutes to both the bay and the ocean! Close to shopping, restaurants but far enough away you are out of the noise and traffic. Parking can be tight on weekends, but we were always close enough it wasn’t an inconvenient walk. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. Laundromat is a couple blocks away on 62nd - you can wash and dry in under 45 mins. For the coffee drinking travellers who want to make sure they have the correct supplies, coffee pot is standard drip type and there is also a french press. We will be back.

2 bed 1 bath hideaway!

This cute apartment was great for my family of four! The bunk beds in the second bedroom were a great fit for the 9 and 12yr old and the bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable. There was just enough space for us to kick back and relax after a long day of beach fun or exploring the city. The only drawback was there weren’t any ceiling fans. We picked up a small fan for the master to help circulate the air in the bedrooms. There was a cabinet of beach gear that was at our disposal as well with a hose to rinse off before heading up to the apartment. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Nice place close to the ocean and bay!

Checkin was east, as was check out. Everything was clean and as advertised. The only issue we had was getting Uber/Lyft service in a timely manner, but that’s no fault of the property or owners in any way!

First time to Long Beach

We really enjoyed our first visit to Long Beach! The condo was perfect and just what we expected. Parking was a little tricky but managed to find something several blocks away. Quiet and peaceful and super close to CSULB. We will definetly return.

Perfect for a beach getaway

The property was exactly as described. 4 houses from the beach, clean, with everything you need. A mile to a lot of restaurants on 2nd street. Host is available and helpful. Will definitely be back.
