Small One bedroom vacation rental apt (about 480 sq ft) designed for two! Up one flight of stairs, this upper level apartment is situated behind the owner's house above the garage and has everything you need for a perfect beach get away. WE have added new hard-wood floors and air conditioning for your comfort! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk to famous 2nd street with it's boutiques and Cafes.

The Red bus will take you downtown in minutes, to the Pike, The Queen Mary, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Once downtown you can take the metro link to Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. You can also take the ferry to Catalina Island. If you have a car famous Surf City or Huntington Beach is a 10 minute drive, and Laguna Beach and Disneyland about 30 minutes drive. Just minutes away one can do kite-surfing, rent canoes, kayaks and sailboats. 3rd person $10 extra per night. $65 final cleaning in cash to be given for the maid. A lovely stay in Belmont Shore

Carol and Traian were excellent hosts, convivial and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked a further stay on our return. The apartment was as advertised, clean, cozy, quiet and perfectly located close to the shopping strip and beach.

Wonderful hosts, great location!

We stayed for 10 days on business and could not have been happier with our choice to stay in Belmont Shores. The area is great, with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Our hosts were attentive, but we had plenty of privacy. Parking was only a minor problem a couple of times, but never had to walk more than a couple hundred feet from the apartment. Most days, parking right by the apartment was available. Just a couple of notes...there is no food shopping within walking distance, (aside from a Rite-Aid with limited choices) and no laundry nearby. Highly recommend staying here!

We love meeting people from all over the world and sharing different stories and experiences. As well as traveling we also enjoy skiing, cycling, hiking and motorcycling. Why they chose this property

We bought the house because it is very convenient to be able to walk to shops and restaurants and to walk to the beach. We think that Belmont Shore is a fun place to be and there is always lots of activities going on. Being able to walk to the beach and not drive, is a real plus! Also it is not far to go to LA, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and Disneyland!

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits of this rental are that you may walk in minutes to the beach, and to shops and restaurants. There are lots of activities in the area, and yet the apt itself is quite quiet and peaceful. Since we live on the property in the main house, we are around to help or give information on the area to our visitors!
