About this property

Charming farmhouse in the countryside

The Oud Klokhof is located in the fields, in the countryside. There is a meadow where the children can play. In the summer there is a large trampoline. The distance to the sea is approximately 4 kilometers. Children can discover the countryside in complete safety. The property is an old farmhouse with a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom. There are five bedrooms and there is sleeping space for 12 persons : 5 double beds (3 with 2 single duvets, 2 with 1 double duvet) and 5 single bed divided over 5 rooms. There are two cots. All the beds are made up with a fitted sheet and a pillowcase but not with a duvet cover. We ask the guests to bring it themselves. Also towels are not offered. If you want us to provide the duvet covers it is an additional cost of 10/15 EUR for a single/double bed. If you want us to provide the towels for the bathroom it is also an additional cost of 7 EUR per person.
The check in is after 4 pm, the check out before 10 am unless other agreement.

A great hoilda for any family with lots of childre

We stayed in the house with our grandchildren. They were never bored in the house and garden. Even if it rains there is enough space to play while the adults can be separate but near enough. Cycling is safe in Belgium even for six year olds. We cycle to the beach and into Veurne for ice-cream. The theme park and swimming pools at Plopsaland were also very near and popular. London is only 3 hours away, so no time for kids to be unhappy travelling. We travelled from Germany to De Panne by train. Easy!

Hi,Thank you for the great stay! We had a good time. There was just a small problem: it rained a lot during the night from friday to saturday and the sink at the toilet was not tight so there was a lot of water under the sink the next day. We cleaned everything up. We just want to let you know that there might be a problem with the drainage. Also the firealarm was ringing wothout any issues or smoke every few minutes, we assume that the batteries need to be changed. There was also a small plate which broke down when we opened the frigde. That was not on purpose. We just want to let you know.Anyways we really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house.Thank you very much!

prima ervaring met wat aanmerlingen

We hebben ons prima vermaakt in het huisje van Carmen. Het is een ruim opgezet huis, met alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn. De opmerkingen die we hadden is dat de openhaard niet gebruikt kon worden en dat er een lekkage was in de keuken, via de lampen. Wat potentieel gevaarlijk kan zijn. Carmen is hiervan op de hoogte en gaat dit aanpakken.

Romantisch-uriges Bauernhaus mit viel Ruhe und Platz

Eine wundervolle Woche mit viel Erholung - das Bauernhaus ist so liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet, dass man gar keine Ausflüge machen möchte. Viel Platz, SEHR gute Ausstattung für Kinder/Teenies (Schaukel, Trampolin, Kicker, Spiele...) und sogar Fahrräder. Wunderbar ein bisschen außerhalb gelegen - man stört keinen und wird auch nicht gestört. Aber mit dem Rad ist man in maximal 10 Minuten im Zentrum von Veurne. Fahrradfahren ist ein Genuß - und man ist nach ca 5km auf geteerten Feldwegen und/oder über Radwegen am Strand. Einfach wunderbar!

Großräumig und gut gelegen

Die Lage des Objektes ist sehr gut, kurzer Weg nach Veurne und nicht weit zum Meer. Durch den großen Wintergarten, der als Speisesaal super fungiert, war ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen. Der Garten war sehr großzügig und gut geeignet für die mitgereisten Hunde. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und es fehlte nicht wirklich an was, um die ganze Familie bekochen zu können. Auch wenn das Platzangebot sehr großzügig ist, fehlt es leider an abgeschlossenen Räumen, von denen es leider nur drei gab. Auch hätten wir uns gewünscht, wenn das Haus in einem Grund gereinigten Zustand gewesen wäre. Die Betreuung Vorort war sehr nett und wir würden sicher auch wieder kommen. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Cozy farmhouse

We spent a lovely week here with two families (4 adults. 3 teenagers 14 - 17). The house is nicely renovated, very spacious and well equipped. Communication with host Carmen as well as checking in and out was very easy, There is a person living nearby who is always available in case of questions or problems. Overall, a very nice location to spend your holiday near the Belgian coast!

Wunderschönes Haus mit viel Platz.

Das Haus bietet viel Platz und eine tolle Ausstattung. Vor allem der Hof mit den vielen Spielmöglichkeiten für unsere Kinder war traumhaft. Es bietet sich an Fahrräder mitzunehmen oder in Veurne auszuleihen. Die wunderschöne Umgebung lässt sich dadurch besser erkunden.

Sehr schönes altes Bauernhaus mit Charme

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Haus bot reichlich Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und einige Spielmöglichkeiten. Der Charme des Hauses spricht für sich. Der umzäunte vordere Garten war toll, um die Hunde laufen lassen zu können. Wir fanden alles vor Ort, was benötigt wurde, um einen tollen Urlaub genießen zu können. Die Fahrt bis zum nächsten Ort war auch mit dem Rad und kleinen Kindern zu bewältigen und der nahegelegene Strand, mit sehr guter Überwachung durch einige Rettungsschwimmer, ist nur zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Stage organisé avec des enfants de 8 mois à 19 ans et 4 adultes .. nous étions 18 personnes et cela c’est magnifiquement bien passé ! Tout était à disposition, il y avait un espace pour chacun! ( vu les activités différentes en fonction de l’age) C’était une magnifique semaine ! Nous reviendrons l’annee Prochaine !!!

Au coeur des Flandres

Charmante maison située entre la mer et la campagne flamande, à moins d'une heure de route de Brugge et une heure de Gent, à moins de 15 min de De Panne. La literie est de qualité, confortable, une douzaine de personnes peuvent être logées. La salle commune est une véranda très appréciée. La propriétaire est à l'écoute de ses locataires, même si elle n'est pas sur place.
