Rome holiday

The rooms are large and clean. Location is close to all the must see sites. Communication prior to check in was very smooth. There are lots of shops around and a market outside the building some mornings. Bathrooms are tiny, no air conditioner or fan in the common areas including the kitchen which made it very uncomfortable in August. Room 2 AC did not cool the room and situation was not resolved by host despite two inquiries.

Three Generations in Rome

Claudia was great, and even let us check in early to save money on luggage storage. It is on the 4th floor, but the elevator is quick and convenient, even though it looks old. It is only about 5 minutes to line A on the metro and about 7 minutes to the main train station, but we gave the location 4 stars because it isn't too close to any major attractions. There is a street market daily right outside the door, so it was easy to get fruit for breakfast. All 3 bedrooms have air conditioning, and there are 3 showers, which makes getting everyone organized a lot easier. We would stay here again for sure.

Roma riscoperta

Tutto come previsto. Il proprietario si è dato da fare e mi ha spiegato rapidamente come risolvere un problema con la lavastoviglie, l'unico che abbiamo avuto nell'appartamento. Chiaramente non può farci niente, quando qualcuno non legge le istruzioni, non chiude bene l'ascensore e lo lascia bloccato al 1° piano.

Near Termini- Clean well stocked apt

Very clean and large 3 bed/bath apartment near termini. Air conditioning and well stocked kitchen a plus. Near Termini station which came in handy during a taxi strike and since apt is not super close to attractions. Listing indicates parking, but it is extremely limited due to the daily market on the street. You are better off knowing the apartment really only has public paid parking available.

Toller Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage

Wir verbrachten 4 Tage in Rom und waren Gäste bei Giacomo. Die Wohnung liegt in zentraler Lage, nur 5 Gehminuten von der Stazione Termini entfernt und damit idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen der Stadt. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung finden sich diverse Restaurants und ein Supermarkt. Die Wohnung liegt im 4. Geschoss eines alten Palazzos und verfügt über einen kleinen aber stilechten Fahrstuhl. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die große Küche verfügt über alles was man benötigt, sofern man selbst kochen möchte. Es stehen 3 Badezimmer zur Verfügung. Die Abwicklung erfolgte vollkommen reibungslos. Bei unserem Eintreffen wurden wir bereits erwartet. Es gab eine kurze Einweisung in die Abläufe im Haus. Leider muss man das Haus am Abreisetag um 1000h wieder verlassen, da dann die Putzfrau (pünktlich!) kommt. Je nach Rückreisezeitpunkt muss man sich also überlegen, wie man die Zeit und Gepäck unterbringt. Wir würden Giacomo's Wohnung jederzeit wieder wählen. Vielen Dank!

Pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Montebello. The apartment is old but spacious. Walking distance to the Terimini and many fine restaurants in the immediate area. The owner was very helpful in securing a ride to and from the airport for the four of us. I have only a couple of complaints and that would be checkout by 10am was a bit too early. The other was the front door was terribly difficult to open. But none of these issues effected our overall fine experience.

Hello Rose,I am sorry but we need to do checkout at ten o'clock in the morning as all other holidays house because we have to do a cleaning service for at least 3 hour and often new clients arrive at this time-for the door I didn't now about this problem-I'll verify -hoping to see you again my best regards Giacomo
