Great location, very nice house, great hist Marc

The house, the remote location and the host Marc were all really great. Though it takes some 25 minutes to get up (and off) the mountain, it's realy no real bother. The house is stunning and host Marc (who lives in another part of the farm house) does everything he can to help you and to make sure you have a great time (thanks agMarc)

Beautiful house high up on the mountainside

We stayed a week in July at L'Orri, Gonzalo's farm high up on the Garrotxa mountainside. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with a long winding road leading up to the farm. The farm has two main buildings, where we disposed of about half of the more traditional one. It was more than large enough for us (four adults and one small child), very well equipped, and as rustic (wood beams in the roof, open fire place, etc) as you would imagine. There is a large garden which we used a lot, with a swimming pool, barbecue, and a shaded eating area, all with a great view. Overall, everything in the description of the house was there and more, so we were very happy with it. The farm is active, and has a few cows roaming the mountain as well as a vegetable patch. Taking care of this as well as guests is a couple living in the valley close to the farm. They were very friendly and helpful, visiting the farm about once a day, giving us fresh vegetables and making sure everything was alright. An extra thanks for all the children's things they lent us! During our stay, we combined hiking with visiting the area by car. Not to far, there are a number of hiking trails leading both to the summits of the nearby mountains as well as to sights such as caves or the areas numerous Romanesque churches. Of the hikes we took, I would recommend the trail up to Puig de Bassegoda, great views from the top. It is really a great area for hiking! As a heads up, some of the roads high in the mountains leading to the start of some marked hikes, are in poor condition, such as the one leading higher up after the L'Orri. So if you don't have a jeep, hiking really is recommended. As it says in the description, the farm is quite isolated, but once you get down into the valley (about 35 min), the medieval villages of the area, as well as the coast is not far. Of the things we visited, swimming under the pont de llierca in the next valley as well as enjoying the spanish three hour lunches in the heat of the day in the villages was the best. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with a beautiful view in the Pyrenees!

Simplemente maravilloso

La masía es simplemente magnífica. Pero sin duda, el entorno es mágico. Nos hemos sentido muy muy a gusto. Una experiencia que a los niños les ha encantado. Merece una mención especial, Marc es una persona extraordinaria, encantador y muy tabajador! Los animales super bien cuidados! Marc: cuidate mucho y esperamos volver a la Masía!

Calme et isolement.

La propriété de Marc permet de se ressourcer et de couper les ponts avec le rythme trop rapide de nos vies actuelles. Marc est à l' écoute et disponible . Le chemin pour accéder à sa propriété est très long (environ 9kms pour environ 30 mn) et pas toujours en bon état (caillouteux). Si vous avez un 4x4 ,aucun souci mais pour des voitures basses on peut dire que c' est compliqué.....Ce serait bien de donner les coordonnées GPS afin de trouver plus facilement cette maison très isolée. Nous garderons un bon souvenir de ce séjour " au bout du monde".

Zeer tevreden over ons verblijf! Een heerlijke rustige plek om midden in de natuur te genieten.

Fijne woning, genoeg ruimte. Prima bedden, de keuken is niet helemaal modern, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Ons was alleen uit de advertentie niet helemaal duidelijk hoe afgelegen de woningen eigenlijk was. Super fijn om met een klein groepje van te genieten, maar een uitje maken is al snel erg tijdrovend. De gastheer/the keeper, was een hele aardige en behulpzame man. Over het algemeen zijn wij zeer te vreden met ons verblijf in L'orri.

Inoblidable, desconexió i tranquil·litat

Ha estat uns del millor llocs on hem estat amb la família de vacances rurals. Un respecte molt profund pels animals i per la natura. Animals molt nets, (mai havia vist un galliner tan net, bonic i variat ) Han fet les delícies de les meves nenes adolescents. Vaques tranquil·les a la vora, i toro espectacular. El masover, en Marc, sempre disposat a ensenyar i estimar els animals. Lloc en ple bosc d’alzines, camins molt bonics, oportunitat de veure el Teix mil·lenari d’Orri, en un entorn encantador. Hem vist molt aprop animals salvatges, com daines, sempre assessorats pel Marc. Per altre banda la Masia es preciosa, amplia, gran , i molt be conservada, del segle 17. Però amb les comoditats d’ara. Si es veritat que no te velocitat de fibra òptica però qui vol això a la natura? Esta molt i molt bé. El camí, es veritat que necessita ser quitranat per no anar tant lent en pujar o baixar .. es fa llarg, però una vegada allà val la pena.

Très bien équipé, accueil sympathique. La route d'accès est étroite et longue (9 km) mais nous étions prévenus donc pas de soucis.

Cadre magnifique pour des vacances tranquilles

Nous avons passé deux très bonnes semaines à l'Orri. La maison est fonctionnelle et très agréable, entourée par les montagnes. L'endroit est idéal pour des vacances en pleine nature. Marc qui nous a accueillis était très attentionné. Seul bémol, le chemin d'accès est vraiment difficile.

Superó nuestra expectativas! Una casa en el medio de la montaña, cómoda, práctica, muy equipada, decorada con un gusto exquisito cuidando cada detalle. Gran jardín con piscina que hizo las delicias de mis tres hijos pequeños. Por cualquier contratiempo la casa cuenta con dos caseros que se ocupan de todo y hasta nos regalaron un pan hecho por ellos, riquisimo. Ideal para familias, para grupos de amigos que busquen tranquilidad, en un entorno de bosque montañoso a 40 minutos del pueblo más cercano. La recomendamos 100%

Una casa y un entorno idilico

Estuvimos pasando el fin de año 6 adultos y 2 niños. Una casa con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias tranquilos y en un entorno increible. Calma y tranquilidad asegurada. Las personas a cargo de la casa no pudieron ser mas amables, cualquier cosa que les comentábamos estaban dispuestos al 100%. Totalmente recomendable.
