Beautiful property in one of the most beautiful villages of Provence: Gordes

This Provencal farmhouse with character has been renovated in 2013. It is on an elevated position and overlooking the heights of the village of Gordes (within 8 minutes on foot) with unique exceptional views. There are beautiful pieces of furniture, a beautiful recent and antique tableware, a library, many beautiful books, big bedrooms, 3 separate toilets, a separate laundry room and recent high quality bedding. FOR 8 PEOPLE

, the cleanings will be done using specific disinfectants and the Laundry where the linen is washed has adapted its products for maximum disinfectionChampagne and wine from the Luberon is served upon arrival. There are L’Occitane welcome products in the bathroom, a Wi-Fi Internet connection, a large 1600 m² terraced garden planted with olive trees, evergreen oaks, big pines, cypresses, lavender and wild rosemary. There is a quality Weber barbecue and a lovely terrace that is sunny all day long. The house is very quiet and overlooks the Vallon de Gordes and the Luberon with stunning views. There are beautiful sunsets. The house, bath and pool linen is provided, 4 h of cleaning are included per week and the pool man comes daily.

Great location in Gordes

Three couples stayed in this house for two weeks. Very beautiful property which is well located for easy travel around the Luberon. Clean and well equipped. We would all be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful location, house authentic, very dark inside with dark walls. Could do with cream or white paint and bedrooms elevated in this regard, with cracks in walls repaired. Kitchen small but ok, pool and outside lovely. Broken umbrella replaced timely. Utility functional but disordered. Expensive for what it is. (probably due to proximity to Gordes). Had a lovely holiday.

Lovely family holiday

Well equipped villa with leisure pool and mature garden including outside eating table and BBQ within walking distance to the beautiful village of Gordes. Loved all the lavender fields in the surrounding Luberon valley. We enjoyed our stay very much (5 adults, 2 teens). Some of the roads are quite narrow so bear this in mind if renting a car.

Great family vacation home

Our four adult children 18-25 joined us for a week long stay in Gordes. The house has lots of room for everyone to relax. The pool is gorgeous and we gathered there for cocktails most nights before heading out to one of the many excellent restaurants in the area. The village is a short walk. Super quiet. Highly recommend for a family vacation.

Stunning Location

We had a lovely stay here. We weren't that familiar with the area and had no idea that Gordes town would be so busy with tourists. Thankfully Brigitte informed us and told us to book local restaurants in advance. The house is nice, well equipped, the only issue was with the umbrellas which were broken and ripped.

Charming stone farmhouse in Gordes

We set out to find a large summer rental within easy walking distance of Gordes and were thrilled to find Mas Odaline. From our first inquiry through our last day, owner Caroline Servant-David and property manager Brigitte Drablier responded promptly to all questions and requests and made our stay a grand success. Our family of seven adults found the house spacious and quiet, with modern bathrooms, ample hot water, and lovely garden views from every window. We especially loved the pool (essential given the “new normal” heat waves in Europe), the beautiful and quintessentially French main living spaces, and the ease of walking into Gordes for morning croissants, evening dinners, and the weekly Tuesday market.

Lovely property in Gordes

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in Gordes. It’s very well situated and you can walk down to the village in about 10-15 minutes. The village and the surrounding area are stunning and we really enjoyed visiting the local area (villages like Roussillon and Bonnieux but also towns a bit further away like Orange and Avignon). The house is large with four good sized bedrooms and it’s very well equipped as well as tastefully decorated.. It does get quite hot at night but there were fans in three of the rooms. The only thing we weren’t keen on was the memory foam mattress topper in our room. The outside space is lovely, with a nice area for meals and a great pool with a nice view. The pool is a ready good size and the children spent lots of time playing in it. The owner and the local lady who manages the property were both very helpful and friendly. The cleaning lady who came mid week was also very nice and the house was very clean when we arrived. Overall, I would definitely recommend this villa.

Provencal Idyll

We have been renting holiday villas in Provence ( mainly the Luberon Valley) off and on for 40 years and this one comes right up there as to level of overall facilities and location, obviously Gordes is a special little town in its own right..The pool was beautiful and very clean There were however one or two small but niggly housekeeping issues. The fridge was not in good condition and this is an absolute requirement in Provence in high summer. The freezer had not been defrosted for some time, the freezer drawers came up against hard ice, which made one of the drawers almost impossible top open. This obviously affected the working of the chill cabinet as food etc kept there was barely cool. all week. The dishwasher did not work properly, the tablet only partially dissolving in some cases.. There was a small issue re lack of hand towels in the toilets/bathrooms. Now I don't want this to sound like a huge moan as the villa was lovely, but I think the owners would appreciate feed back. As a family we would have no hesitation in returning.to the villa

Nous avons passé la plus belle semaine dans cette belle maison dans un cadre exceptionnel. Salles de bains luxueuses, lits confortables, tout l'équipement de cuisine dont nous pourrions avoir besoin, sans oublier la magnifique piscine ! Comment pourrions-nous ne pas nous détendre ? L'emplacement est parfait et nous avons pris le sentier pittoresque menant à Gordes à plusieurs reprises. Magical experience in luberon

Our family of four staid there in August 2019, also inviting friends and family for part of the stay. The house is beautiful, functional and in a great spot. Unforgettable stay, wonderful region, true chic and authentic atmosphere, located in the village of Gordes, nice walks to go down the market of Gordes (8 minutes) via the road of the chemin de la crête. Overlooking position with views of the Luberon, on the heights of Gordes, it is an old, happy and welcoming house full of charm where it is pleasant to relax by the pool or read on the shaded terraced garden decorated with lavender and beautiful trees and a true old “borie”. The house is very clean. Beds regularly receive an anti-dust mite treatment.
