The 'Texas Cottage' at the Comal Inn is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of New Braunfels, Texas. Located across the street from the beautiful spring-fed Comal River and walking distance to the historic downtown Main Plaza and the world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park. Minutes away by car to Gruene, TX, home of Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas. The Texas Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with a king size bed and private bath, ceiling fan, and hairdryer. One of the bedrooms has a flat screen tv/cable. The fully equipped kitchen has a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, cooking utensils, pots & pans, all you need to bring is food. The kitchen, dining area, and living room is an open concept area. The living area includes a flat screen tv/cable, ceiling fan, and a queen size sofa sleeper. The cottage is also equipped with free Wifi, central air & heat, and a washer & dryer. Outside amenities include a private porch with comfortable rocking chairs to sit and relax, an outdoor patio, table with chairs to sit and eat, an outdoor garden area with benches to sit, relax and watch the birds that come feed at the various bird feeders.

Great location!

This property was even nicer than the photos. Very clean, spacious, great porch. The breakfast was such a nice treat and a very generous amount.

Comfortable place for a weekend away

Shared the cottage with another couple and space was clean and put together. We were able to walk to the square for coffee in the morning and dinner/drinks at night. Would definitely stay again if back in the area!

Adorable cottage right by the river!

Me and my friends absolutely loved this adorable cottage! It had everything we needed, with a great location close to downtown New Braunfels and the Comal River! The owners were very polite and provided us with a great breakfast, orange juice, and waters!

Wurstfest getaway

The Texas Cottage was great. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to downtown and Wurstfest. The fresh pastries were very good as well. Would stay again.

This cute cottage is close to everything fun in New Braunfels yet quiet and cozy! We rented a golf cart and rode to Krause’s to eat then went antique shopping! My college roommates and I had a BLAST! Great host and hostess!

Perfect house, perfect location!

This place was awesome! It fit our needs perfectly, especially with the king beds and adjoining bathrooms. The sheets and beds were extremely comfortable too. The other perfect thing was that it was within walking distance to everything. We never moved our car once we got there. It was just perfect!

Comfy&cozy -as-home place

My family enjoyed a vacation in Texas Cottage. Everything was even over our expectations! Delicious breakfast, clean&fresh bed linens/towels, full equipped kitchen - all we need to spent awesome time near Comal river. Its just 3 minutes away from the river , so 2 times a day we went to floated. Really recommend this beautiful property to stay!

This property is amazing! The location is fabulous; close to historic downtown and convenient for floating! The cabin is very clean and decorated adorably. The details, like the coffee maker, drinks in the fridge and fresh pastries, really made our stay nice. We are picky people, and will stay here every time we come to New Braunfels!

Perfect location, beautiful property, great hosts!

We rented the Texas Cottage for three nights for a family wedding. The location is perfect. So close to everything without being in the middle of the summer crowds. We spent mornings and evenings on the beautiful front porch in those rocking chairs! It was so nice to have blueberry and banana nut bread from Neaglin's, a historic bakery down the street--with the yogurt, fruit, and cereal, it was enough breakfast for all three mornings. There is ample parking onsite, but also street parking too. We definitely would stay here again!

Precious Cottage, Lovely Town

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage and property are very neat and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the neighborhood deer. The cottage is in a great location for visiting San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Gruene and the river. I would definitely stay here again!,
