Best of both worlds family vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love that this house is located between a lake and the beach! You can sit on the screened in backporch and hear and watch the waves roll in. You can also sit on the front porch and watch mullet skip across the lake. There’s a pier our grandsons loved fishing from at the lake. House has a great set up. 4 bedrooms with 2 tub/showeres and 4 toilets!! Things were clean for the most part but felt they could have been even cleaner. Coffee pot needed to be cleaner, potholders were dirty, little things like that. Smoke detector kept going off but I called and someone came and fixed it. Was disappointed because someone showed up at the door and said they were there to fix the dryer. We had no idea they were coming. We had plans and one didn’t get to participate because he didn’t want to leave him there by himself. A heads up would have been nice. Overall, a great place to stay with a great location with your own little strip of private beach.

Great family week at the beach

Allen's Dune was the perfect property for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the views. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Thanks for a great week at the beach!!!

Great Location Makes Up for Everything

We loved the location and the quietness away from all the Spring Breakers. The house was convenient to every thing and it was wonderful having a view of the Gulf and the Lake. The description said the house had 4 baths. In fact it has 4 toilets and 2 bathtub/showers. This is not 4 baths! I would NEVER have rented this had I known the true situation. However the home was lovely and we had a wonderful time. My only other concern is the beds only had a sheet on them....no blanket or spread. We had a cool spell and had to dig around to find blankets to keep warm. The blankets were in the house just not put on the beds.

Santa Rosa Beach Relaxation

The house we had was a “veteran” house but just like it was described in the listing. It could stand to be updated, but it met our needs. We enjoyed the location and really appreciated absolutely no crowds on the beach. It was like a private beach most of the time.
