We had a great stay here with our kids! Easy check in, super super clean house, great hot tub. No hiccups whatsoever. Also loved that it was close to Logan- we didn’t have to drive through 30 minutes of winding roads with a carsick kid and still got the cabin experience!
Everything was great! Easy check in, all the supplies we needed, quiet surroundings yet close to everything

Thank you for the kind review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay in our cabin at Hocking Hills. It's wonderful to know that the hot tub and the retro video game console were a hit, providing entertainment and a memorable experience. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Dogwood was clean, well stocked, and well maintained with plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub and community pool were enjoyed. Great place for a stay!
The chalet was very clean, roomy, well stocked and in a great location. The upstairs beds have mattresses that are very firm. We had to switch to a different bedroom after the first night. The hot tub was refilled the day of our arrival so we couldn’t use it our first night because it never got hot. It was at a great temperature the next 2 days. We had a few bugs (stink bug, spider and centipedes) in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and had some ants coming in through the door and into the kitchen. There was an almost empty can of ant spray under the sink that we used. That helped a little bit. I did contact them and they responded back the following morning and offered to send someone out but we were checking out in 90 minutes so we said not to come then.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad you enjoyed the chalet's cleanliness and location. We'll address the mattress firmness and pest issues immediately. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
cabin was nice. everything as we read it to be however, the entire basement was damp, bed coverings were damp and the entire lower level smelled musty or mildewy. we had to go local department store to buy an air freshener / dehumidifier in order to sleep down there.

This house was absolutely the cleanest vacation rental that I have ever stayed in. Great job housekeeping staff! We had plenty of room. We were close to the many beautiful trails at Hocking Hills. I would highly recommend this house.
Nice, well organized and comfortable cabin. The two 12 year olds and 11 year old really loved the downstairs room with foosball and table game thing. The hot tub was a hit as well.
Proximity to Logan and all the caves was good. The main living space isn’t super huge, but big enough to be enjoyable and comfortable!
Dogwood was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 children plus dogs. There was plenty of room, 3 bathrooms, and all the amenities we needed. The only thing missing was a hose to refill the hot tub, but that's not a big deal. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will certainly consider returning to this property.
Allowed us to bring our two pets with us. We loved the fire place. We brought lots of good dry fire wood and burned it every day all day long. It drafted very good for a open fire place no smoke in cabin. Grandchildren loved the arcade game. Would come back.
It was fun to have a family gathering. The cabin was just right, the hiking, well plan ahead, takes some pacing.
returning to hot tub was a big help on leg recovery.
We over packed and then forgot a few things to take, recovered at Walmart. I wish we would have done this years ago, but will return. thanks.
The cabin was incredible! It was handicap accessible so, my parents were able to join us on the trip. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, made a fire in the fireplace and had a movie night with the dvds provides. The kids loved the games and bunkbed in the basement. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and watching the wide variety of birds in the area. The only downside was that my father who uses a walker was unable to take walks with us because of the gravel roads.
We’re an extended family of 10 with 2 dogs. Had a wonderful time New Year’s weekend. The house was super clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us to be hanging out on the main floor. Cooking, playing games, puzzles, reading & watching TV. Great location - close to all the good hiking trails and coffee shop at end of road. Small note: main floor bathroom door sticks - several of us kept getting stuck inside and couldn’t get out without someone opening the door from the outside.

I figure after paying as much money as we did. The place would’ve been way cleaner there was stuff stuck in the shower nothing was dusted. Ceiling fans were disgusting.
The property was exactly as advertised! Check-in and check-out was very easy. Couldn’t have been more pleased!

Nice lodge for wheelchair disability
Had group of 10. One person wheelchair disability. It was nice to find this lodge with ramp. Just beware the ramp was somewhat steep. Very nice fire pit was close to cabin and not downhill. We felt kitchen lacked pots for large group cooking. Very nice lodge and location . would book again!
Nice cabin had everything we needed. Close to shops and restaurants and Hiking trails. The only complaint the cabin had a bad odor to it expecially in the basement . It smelled of sewer and sweat.
