To amp it up a bit… bring your water toys (or rent nearby) for an amazing time at this Texas vacation FAVORITE!! Our spectacular fully furnished upscale Texas custom home in its private small gated community with great neighbors is ready for your Lake Conroe stay.

We are not blocks or across the street from the water - the breathtaking lake and views are in our backyard!!! ~2800 sq ft home with 3 bedrooms upstairs +1 convertible bedroom downstairs, 2.5 baths and an additional ~2000sf “outdoor living space” including multi-level covered wrap around patios on BOTH levels with spectacular views!

Our home is designed with the family in mind too with it’s interior living space boasting built-in entertainment center with 70" smart TV, surround sound, and an open Texas kitchen & dining space for those family dinners! Additional large screen TVs in other rooms & games galore! All with gorgeous lake views and direct access with outdoor seating areas, grill, and our custom corn hole boards for your family tournaments!

We are only minutes off I-45 so no long traffic waits on busy roads - you will love the hilltop road views introducing you to the “vacay feeling” (you just have to see to get THAT feeling). While you won't want to leave, you do have many restaurant & entertainment options within minutes, like:

- Conroe “in town” for small town pizza place and cafes (must try Honors Cafe owned/op by US Vets), outdoor free concert series, & shopping

Beautiful as Always!!

This is our second time staying at The Cove, and it was every bit as good as the first time. The hosts are the very best! The property is beautiful and very clean. We highly recommend this property!

Relaxing Stay!

Our family had such a wonderful time at The Cove! The home was clean and well stocked. The kids enjoyed the games, and being able to swim in the lake. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The home is in a quiet gated community, perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Best weekend ever

Do not hesitate to stay here. The pictures did this place no justice. The community was gorgeous, the house was simply amazing. Kelly was awesome and so helpful with anything we needed. The house has everything you could possibly want to make a great weekend. Beautiful patios, hammocks, outdoor seating and deck. You will not be disappointed.

Great Family Time

My family had a great time at the Cove. The property is maintained impeccably with no detail spared. I have rented other similar houses but there is no comparison with this one. Everything that was needed for cooking in the spacious kitchen was provided. We enjoyed the dock and used it to launch our kayak. The pontoon rental was great fun as well. Kelly made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend. We definitely will be back.

Great Vacation at The Cove!

As first-time renters on VRBO, we were a little apprehensive at first. But, the booking and stay couldn't have been any easier! The Gregorys were very helpful with our needs and questions during our stay [June 18-21]. Plus, if you forgot to pack your wine or finished it too early, they also provided additional bottles for a small fee! We never had to leave the house unless it was time to jump in the lake, which was literally their back yard! It's a great place to bring any water toys, boogie boards, canoes, SUP boards, ect. Also the house is right next to the neighborhood boat ramp if you choose to bring your boat or jet ski! Overall, the Cove and the Gregorys were much more hospitable than we could have ever imagined!

The experience was so great & easy, the owner was very helpful & extremely nice. We rented the house for the location & views, which are perfect in a private gated community on a small cove, just perfect. I hope to come back again & stay in this beautiful home & sit on the porches & enjoy my day’s relaxing in the hammocks.

A beautiful lakeside retreat

We had a wonderful and positive experience while renting this beautiful Lakeside retreat. The description of the property as well as photographs are accurate and we got just what we expected out of our stay. The home was immaculate and has plenty of space for enjoying your vacation with family and friends. There is everything that you could need at your fingertips; just bring your suitcase! The owners are swiftly responsive, have incredible communication skills and are highly detail oriented; everything was outlined and organized for a stress-free stay. You can tell that they genuinely want you to have a wonderful experience with their warm, welcoming and helpful communications. Thank you for welcoming us to the lake!

Wonderful house and great host!

The Cove has been one of the best rentals I've stayed in. Kelly was great to work with. We were a last minute booking and she jumped through hoops to make sure we were all set up. She also left us pie and cookies with a sweet note thanking us for our service. She was in constant communication and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was immaculate and felt like home. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The location was so nice and peaceful. Don't miss the morning sunrises from the balcony! Neighbors were very friendly as well and made sure we felt welcome. We will definitely rent this property again!

The house sits on the lake and has an amazing view especially seen on the wraparound balcony. Our friend brought his boat and we happily enjoyed the lake. It was very convenient that there was a slip on the property. The owners were very friendly and quick to respond to all correspondence. Fantastic Family Reunion

My Brothers and I were looking for a vacation home to have a small family party to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. We chose The Cove and could not have been more pleased. There was plenty of room for everyone in beautiful accommodations. The kitchen was well stocked enough to have all the serving pieces needed for a birthday party. Complimentary cold water bottles and a nice bottle of wine were waiting for us upon arrival. The home is beautiful and every detail has been carefully thought out. If you forgot sunglasses, Kelly has extra pairs available. Kelly was a delight to work with and very helpful. I only have two very small observations that could be improved upon. The secondary bedrooms have double beds and that accommodates children but not really adults. Another issue is the door chime is always on and one control pad is in the master bedroom. No sleeping in if people are coming and going to enjoy the beautiful decks in the morning. I understand the need for safety but I really wish we could have changed that option. That is such a petty complaint I hardly consider it a complaint. We had a wonderful time and we loved working with the Gregory's! The Cove is a gorgeous home that is perfect for a family vacation. There are so many activities close by and Lake Conroe is beautiful.

We Love The Cove!!

Let Me just sum it up in three simple letters, WOW!!! We absolutely loved our stay. Great location and the home is so welcoming. We were able to relax and just enjoy our boat on the lake from morning until dusk. One Night we even to the boat for a short ride to have dinner. We will definitely be staying again.

Beware of losing full payment!

The owner cancelled our reservation within less than 2 weeks of our date of arrival without any cause and did not refund our 3 night holiday stay that we paid for in full at the time of booking. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any rental. I have been using VRBO for over 10 years and am appalled that an owner would do such a thing. In March 2015 we booked this rental for July 4th weekend for 3 families which included 6 adults and 3 children (ages 4, 11, and 12)). We paid the owner in full as requested upon booking. We completed the owner’s contract and as requested provided a copy of my husband’s and my driver’s license and a list of the 9 people and their ages that would be staying at the rental. Three weeks before our reservation date the owner informed me of a new contract. This time she wanted driver’s licenses for all adults which we also complied with, although I thought it was odd. We had some plans change for our guests and we were now going to have 3 more children come with us (ages – 16, 16, and 12). I put in the request for the additional guests assuming there would be no issues since the agreement allowed for additional guests to be added at rate/person/night and the agreement even said to bring air mattresses for the additional guests. The owner denied our request saying that “teens” were not welcome and she would only allow crib age children. She also noted we should find additional accommodations for our guests in excess of 9. We contacted another rental company and were able to secure another condo for the extra guests. I asked the owner whether the extra guests would be allowed to eat dinner with us at the owner’s property. The owner has security cameras on the property and I did not want to violate any implied rules of having visitors on the premise. The owner did not respond to my question but rather simply canceled my reservation saying my request was too “stressful” for her. She not only took my money but she even put the property available for rent again and is intending to collect rental money for the same dates. I filed a serious complaint with VRBO to prevent this from happening to any other future renters of this property. Owner has chosen to ignore my complaint and request for full refund for services not rendered.

Awesome!

The Cove was a fabulous place for my family's vacation. The house was awesome with the large wrap around covered porches down and up stairs with hammocks and chairs for relaxing.The kitchen had everything you need to prepare your meals with a gas grill outside if you wanting to grill steaks & etc. We had 2 boats which the dock accommodated easily! My grand daughters that are 3 & 6 and my family loved the cove! My family really appreciate the Gregory's sharing their beautiful home with us and we will definitely be back!

So Beautiful!

The pictures do not do justice! The home is breathtaking and very relaxing! It's also very peaceful being that it is in the cove. We're currently trying to think of another weekend where we can rent out the lake house again! So much fun!

Had a wonderful time!!

Our stay at "The Cove" was so much fun! The place is outstanding and has all the amenities!! Every single room is so carefully detailed with Texas accents, and the location by the lake is perfect. Can't wait to be back there again.

The Cove in Conroe was an excellent get away which was very compfortable and relaxing. The house was decorated in such a way that my family felt at home yet in a high class hotel. I will return for summer fun and bring my boat when the kids get out of school. Great time!
