On foot you can go for a swim in the marina's saltwater pool, go to the historic city center, museums, market, restaurants, or venture into this magnificent city. Roomy City Apartment

We are a family of 5 with 3 young adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had easy walking access to downtown.

Fabulous

We enjoyed staying here. We had a view of the harbor and we were close to restaurants and Ponta Delgada. The apartment had everything we needed and Ricardo was very helpful. It was perfect for the four of us with a place to eat on the balcony.

Estancia agradable en las Azores

Ricardo es un anfitrión excelente. Se preocupa por los huéspedes: llama frecuentemente, aconseja restaurantes,lugares de interés... El piso es amplio y limpio. Hay un supermercado cerca y el centro de la ciudad solo esta a 15 minutos a pie desde la casa.

Great host; Convenient location for exploration

We enjoyed this great launching point to explore all of Sao Miguel. The apartment is very clean and has good parking. It also had enough space to allow our teenage boys to spread out. As mentioned by other reviewers, Ricardo is a great host - providing great recommendations for what to do and see and where to eat. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Ideal location and amazing host

The property was just as described. Very clean and in an excellent location. We walked everywhere in town. There is parking right outside, which was very convenient. Ricardo was so helpful from before we even checked in to the property, and continued to answer all our questions about the island throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and this host!

Ponta Delgado apartment Sao Miguel

Owner very hospitable! Charming and spacious apartment. Older building and no elevator. 5 flights of stairs a bit much after a long day being a tourist! Overall it was worth it!

Great Location, Plenty of Room

Ricardo was fantastic to work with, and he gave us great recommendations as well. The area has plenty of parking, and is only a 10 minute walk to the center of town. Loved it!

Amazing stay and experience!

The apartment was clean, is spacious, and has spectacular ocean and city views from the balcony. If you don’t mind climbing four flights of stairs and living among the local residents this is a great place to stay! Bonus - Ricardo is great host and is there for you whenever you need anything. Had everything we needed and close to the action

The view from balcony was awesome and the rooms were good. I don't recommend this place for people who have difficulty walking 4 flights of stairs especially with luggage.

clean and comfortable location, very central

Thanks Ricardo & Celia The place was amazing, my mother is a hard women to satisfy and her only complaint was the stairs. But that is understandable from the perspective and an elder of 73 years old. But that did not stop her from me trying to book there again towards the end of the trip but it did not work out. So for anyone looking at renting this location, the place was very clean and comfortable. It is spacious enough to accommodate a large group. It is also some what central that you can easily walk down to the Marina area. The only issue, for families bringing either elderly family members or members with physical disability, it would not be an ideal spot as there is no elevator and the apartment is at the top 4-5 flights of stairs.
