It has all the mod cons needed for a relaxing break including: central heating; a wood burner stove; modern bathroom with bath and power shower and heated floor; and a fully fitted kitchen with filtered water tap, microwave, dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer.

Original painted floorboards, contemporary furnishings and super comfortable beds with 100% cotton bedlinen. It has a south facing fully enclosed and private garden. The property opens onto a 20m² deck which is ideal for lounging or dining al fresco. Even on those days when the onshore breeze is brisk, this garden remains a sheltered warm haven fully enclosed so great for children and four legged friends!

There is a lockable single garage to store bikes and water sports equipment as well as a 6m² hard standing that would take a caravan or sailing dinghy. An external electricity point can be supplied if needed.

Owlers Retreat is an idyllic base from which to explore East Sussex throughout all seasons.

Local shops, cafes and the wonderful Beach Bistro restaurant are within walking distance. Beyond the seven mile stretch of sandy beach, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing are available at the local water sports centre and the historic town of Rye is a short drive away for shops, pubs, restaurants, fresh seafood and a cream teas. Renowned walking and cycling routes around Rye and the Romney Marsh are highly recommended.

Bedroom Three: This room can be used as a snug or reading room or a bedroom for one or two children. Daybed sofa with pull out bed under – both with proper single mattresses. (Please note that when the second bed is pulled out you need to climb over it to get to the other). USB charging point.
