A haven for family reunions and friends get-togethers in the heart of Venice

A very large apartment with private door in a secluded calle just by the marvellous San Giovanni e Paolo church . A quiet neighborhood out of the hustle and bustle, only 10-15 min walk from San Marco, Rialto and Arsenale.
Ca' del Cafetier is the perfect place for big family reunions and friends get-togethers. We offer 5 bedrooms, living room, huge kitchen/dining room, terrace, altana (typical Venetian wooden roof sundeck) and 4 bathrooms. Las but not least, we have a an infrared Sauna for 4 people.
We can host 12 people at ease, and if you are fewer you will feel like kings..

THE SPACE
Private door on the calle leads to video surveilled entrance hall where you can store your luggage for early check-in / late check-out. First flight of stairs leads to security apartment door. A mezzanine room at this level holds a sauna (4 seats) and shower. A second flight of stairs leads to the main floor where a large lounge, a huge dining room/kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi bath and one with Jacuzzi shower) are located.
Another flight of stairs lead to the "Masterdeck" mansard f which can be used as 5th bedroom (wih 4 single beds) or as a second relaxing lounge with video and HiFi stereo. Bathroom number 4 is at this floor, as well as the "Spritz" terrace with table and chairs, where you can enjoy drinks among the roofs of Venice. Finally, climbing the last steps you access the "Altana" sundeck with 4 comfortable loungers.
Standard lenght of beds in Italy is 190 cm , width is 160 cm (except for double bed in room 4 which is 140 cm wide) for double beds and 80 cm for single beds (except for 1 bed in mansard which 120 cm wide, so it is nearly double).
Air conditioning in each room, wifi internet, library, Hi-Fi and 2 TV sets. Fully equipped kitchen with stoves, oven, microwave oven, toaster and all kinds of coffee machines (american, moca, neapolitan and, of course, espresso). Washing machine and dryer.

HOW TO REACH THE APARTMENT

• from the Marco Polo airport you have 3 options:

1. take a speedboat cab to Campo San Giovanni e Paolo. it takes 20 min, costs is €130 for 4 persons + €10 for each extra one up to 10
2. take Alilaguna boat service, get off at Ospedale stop : it takes 40 min+ wait time, cost is 15 € x person older than 4
3. ACTV public bus to Piazzale Roma + n.5.2 waterbus & get off at Ospedale stop : it takes 1 hour 30 min cost is 15.5€ x person

• from the Santa Lucia railway station or Piazzale Roma bus Terminal & car parking/rental drop-off garage you have 2 options:

1. Take n.5.2 waterbus, get off at Ospedale stop 35 min', departs every 20 min, cost is 9.5 € x person
2.Take a speedboat cab to Campo San Giovanni e Paolo . It takes 10 min, cost is €60 for 4 persons + €10 x each extra person up to 10

• from Treviso Canova Aiport
Take bus to Venezia Piazzale Roma then follow above instructions

• from the Tronchetto Cruise terminal/car park you have 2 options:

1) take a speedboat cab to Campo San Giovanni e Paolo : it takes 20 min and the cost is €90 for 4 persons + €10 x each extra one up to 10
2) Take n.2 water bus to Piazzale Roma then n.5.2 waterbus, get off at Ospedale stop, it takes 55 min, departs every 20 min, cost is 9.5 € x person
