The apartment is part of an aristocratic palace of the XVII / XVIII century in the center of Rome: "Palazzo del Gallo di Roccagiovine". The palace was as property of descendants of Napoleon Bonaparte (Giulia Bonaparte) ,. It's famous the wonderfull stairscase made by the same architect who did the Spanish Step (Alessandro Specchi) The house is on the first floor (there is no access for the disabled), with all windows overlooking the Piazza Campo de 'Fiori, (and also having double glazing everywhere, the silence can not be total of course. The "pros and cons" of a unique and unrepeatable home. Three bedrooms (two with the view on Campo de 'Fiori) and two bathr, living room with a comfortable and functional kitchen (view on Campo de Fiori too). A double room has a private bathroom with conditioned air portable (in historic buildings is prohibited to install air conditioned fixed installations) and a fireplace for the winter. A true romantic nest. The other bedrooms (1 double, 1 with two single beds, pushed together if desired) have ceiling fans.

Campo de 'Fiori gem was convenient and super clean . We had a comfortable time with my entire family. I highly recommend it if you want to explore Rome and it hidden gems.
thank you for hosting my family Michela and hope we will see you next time when we returned to Rome.
We had a wonderful stay in this VRBO right in the middle of Rome. The owners were wonderfully attendant and even helped us arrange for 4:30 am transportation to the airport. Even though this was the loudest rental I’ve ever stayed at (we did need to use the earplugs provided) we would still stay there again because of the perfect location allowing us to walk everywhere, felt incredibly safe in the area, watching Campo de Fiori change in front of your eyes from market to nightlife and having the true Italian experience!
This apartment is located in a small Piazza bordering Campo de Fiori and a very short walk to the Piazza Navona. This was exactly the location we wanted. The apartment is located within a courtyard off the Piazza behind huge doors. It is quite safe. Inside, the apartment is clean and the owner is nice enough to provide many basics that are usually never provided like water, soap, coffee, sugar etc. He also included a wonderful bottle of Prosecco. The downside is because you are basically bordering the Campo de Fiori it is quite lively and loud at night. We are not night owls so it was hard to sleep. The owner does provide ear plugs which helped a lot if you can get used to wearing them.
