Raven View is a detached bungalow, set in a beautiful mature garden in the heart of Curracloe Village. The house is just minutes away from the breathtaking, blue flag beaches of Curracloe and Ballinesker. Curracloe is one of the cleanest beaches on the Irish coast and is best known for being featured in the world famous 1997 film "Saving Private Ryan" and also the most recent film "Brooklyn."
Nestled in the heart of the village, it has a host of amenities on its doorstep, including a hotel, bars, shops a Post office, hairdresser and a church. The nearby forest of Raven Wood is perfect for long walks or bike rides. The North Slob Wildlife Reserve is a must for nature lovers.
Curracloe Village is a 15 minute drive into Wexford Town where there is a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, leisure facilities, swimming pools and parks. Wexford Town is also renowned for the world famous Opera Festival in October, attracting tourists from all over the world.
Raven View is a 20 minute drive from award winning golf courses, a host of National Heritage Parks, castles and museums; so truly something for everyone to enjoy.
The property itself is set in beautiful mature, secluded gardens with panoramic views of the countryside. The bungalow comprises of 3 double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite with a shower, wash hand basin and wc. The fourth bedroom is a single room, perfect for a child. The bungalow also has a modern shower room and a separate room with wc and wash hand basin. It has a newly fitted kitchen/dining area, with electric hob and oven. It has a large well furnished living room, which has an open fire and patio doors leading out into the back garden.The property also has central heating throughout. The bungalow provides adequate parking for 4 cars.
Truly an amazing location, perfect for a family holiday or even a short weekend break.

Good stay

Curracloe is a lovely town. The home could use some new carpeting. And no one wants to pack towels when traveling internationally or have to purchase them while there, so they should be provided. As should trash removal service and bins in rooms other than the kitchen/one bathroom. All else was fine.

A perfect location for our honeymoon!

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and it was wonderful! The cottage was very clean upon arrival and its location was ideal! We were minutes away from the Curracloe Beach, which was quite lovely. The cottage is also located by several other establishments. There is a lounge/restaurant two doors down, where my husband and I stopped frequently to grab a pint and a small bite to eat. We even went in a few times in the evening for live music, which is played there nightly. There's a hotel down the road that serves delicious food as well and one night we went to Wexford, (which is maybe 10-15 minutes from the cottage) to shop and have dinner. So much to do here! It was just my husband and I staying at the house, but is definitely family friendly! Everyone in the area was super friendly and helpful! Lena was also very helpful and promptly got back to us about any questions we had. We absolutely would return to Lena's cottage.

Comfortable house with a cooks kitchen!

We were grandparents, daughter and son in law and 4 and 6 month old, we had a very comfortable stay, this house is spacious and very well supplied kitchen wise, the only thing we missed was a bath for the little ones. We'd go back!!

Family Staycation

Location of property is excellent. Less than 3 minutes drive to Curracloe beach (beautiful!) , less than 15 to Wexford town. Petrol station/Centra across the road and Furlong’s pub and chipper right next door! House was spotless when we arrived. Kitchen had everything required if you wanted to cook which was great. Bedrooms a good size beds were comfortable. No wifi but that was not an issue for us. Had to dispose of our rubbish/recyclables ourselves which wasn’t expected but that’s the only downside. Everything else was great. Quiet location with big back garden that’s well maintained that my toddler loved to run around in. Perfect bungalow for those with small kids as it’s all on one level. Communication with owner was very easy and she was very helpful. Would definitely go back for another holiday. Thank you Lena!

We had a really great stay at Raven View, the house itself was perfect for our older family members, lots of space, power showers and the best equipped holiday home kitchen I’ve ever seen. Its the perfect base for exploring Wexford and the ideal spot for enjoying the amazing beaches nearby. Will definitely be back

Well loved house, could do with some updating. Having to bring your own towels was a bit of a pain but the beds were comfortable. Great location and close to everything, just drove to the beach. Thanks Lena & Mary for your help.

fantastic holiday house

Stayed in this house with my wife and daughter and our friends and their 2 children and it was ideal for our needs. Nice big garden for the kids to run around in and plenty of space inside. The location is ideal as it is less than a minute's drive to the beach, 10 minute drive to wexford town and a few seconds walk to the shop/pub. House is well equipped and was spotless when we arrived. Would stay again.

Wonderful place and beautiful location!

Our family had such a fun time staying at Ravens View. It's a good location- market just around the corner and beautiful beach 5 min. drive away. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our 4 kids. There was everything we needed there and the kitchen was well stocked to cook our own meals. It's so quiet and peaceful and the view from the back yard was lovely. Lena was great to work with and was always so prompt to respond to any question or concern we had. An amazing overall experience! We hope to have the chance to go back someday.

Why they chose this property

We bought Ravens View in Curracloe after spending many happy holidays here as a child with my family. I then returned year after year renting holiday accommodation with our own children who also Ioved holidaying here, they have met so many friends and always had loads of great times in Curracloe Village & on the sands of Curracloe Beach. They are grown up now and still love returning so when the opportunity arose to buy here we jumped at it!! We return frequently & still love it, as once here we don't have to drive anywhere if we don't want to as everything on our doorstep. We decided to rent it out in 2017 & hopefully other families can create their own happy memories here!!

Ravens View is a spacious property in a beautiful setting and truly is in the perfect location, once your here you don't have to drive anywhere, as everything is in walking distance!!
