Morros Vivos is a restored house. Located in the municipality of Fasnia, in the south of Tenerife. It dates from 1840, built by the ancestors of the family itself that now runs it. It was a school for the second republic during the Spanish civil war. With ceilings, windows, doors and original walls.

Wonderfully Charming

It is a nice quirky place in a quieter part of the island. Its far enough away to be distant from the cities, but still close enough to make runs to groceries, the airport, or activities around the island. The bathroom is especially cool.

Das Haus war zu kalt, es hat keine Heizung, auf die direkte Kontaktaufnahme und die Kontaktaufnahme ĂŒber FeWo-Support mit dem Besitzer wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass er sich dafĂŒr nicht zustĂ€ndig fĂŒhlt. Das Haus war feucht, muffig, wies FeuchtigkeitsschĂ€den an den WĂ€nden auf. Das Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer waren in Reihe und nicht belĂŒftbar, das Badezimmerfenster war nicht zu öffnen. Eine BelĂŒftung der beiden RĂ€ume war nicht möglich. Es gibt einen Ofen im Wohnzimmer fĂŒr Holz/Holzkohle. Beim Anheizen kamen reichlich Abgase ins Wohnzimmer, sodaß die HaustĂŒr geöffnet werden mußte. Es wurde uns eine Portion Brennholz gegeben fĂŒr 3 Tage. Wir mußten Brennmatrial kaufen. In der kalten Jahreszeit ist das Haus nicht bewohnbar. Eine Bewertung im GĂ€stebuch aus dem Januar 2026 war noch erheblich kritischer. Wir hatten Sorge vor Schimmelbefall. Die WĂ€sche roch muffig. Einen Parkplatz fĂŒr das Haus gab es nicht, der nĂ€chste Parkplatz war 300 m entfern und abends immer wieder belegt. Der Parkplatz im Ort war 800 m entfernt, der Weg zum Haus sehr steil. Der sogenannte Patio war ein schmaler kurzer Flur, in dem eine Waschmaschine stand, nicht angeschlossen und WĂ€scheleinen, die fĂŒr 3 HandtĂŒcher reichten, also kein Ort der Erholung. Wir haben abends gefroren. Die Anzeige auf FeWo ist deutlich geschönt, das Haus in der kalten Jahrezeit nicht bewohnbar. Schade um das schöne Haus! Das Haus ist sehr feuergefĂ€hrlich, keine Feuermelder, kein Notausgang, Feuerlöscher abgelaufen. Sehr enttĂ€uschend.

Wir haben gebucht fĂŒr 6 NĂ€chte Das Zweite Tag sind geflĂŒchtet da es nicht empfehlenswert ist zum ĂŒbernachten. Feuchtigkeit und Pilz am WĂ€nde ,Spinnengewebe am Möbel ,Geruch nach Muffeln Dazu haben wir Invasion von 7cm grosse Kakerlaken gehabt ĂŒberal sogar in BadetĂŒch Matratz in eine Zimmer war Katastrophe . So haben wir Mussen von ein Zimmer Matratz wechseln auf ein ander hoch da ich möglich weg von Boden entfernt sein wollte Warm Wasser war nicht da . Internet Zugang ist mir nicht gelungen . Da durch erwarten wir die Ganze Geld Summe zurĂŒck Andrea und Peter

Wonderful country retreat with character

If you want a quiet stay in the mountains, in a beautifully restored old house, then this is for you. I loved this place, especially once I got the fire going and a good meal with wine. It is like going back in time, so much character and tasteful antique decor. Its only a 7 min drive to the coast road. There are tapas bars near by which I didn't try, as was happy to cook. If you are looking for nightlife, noise and the latest mod cons, its not for you. However, it does have good facilities; hob, microwave, hot water and tv. The owner is lovely and very pleasant to deal with. If you like a quieter less touristy get away, its perfect.

La Old School ne joue pas la carte musĂ©e mais cette ancienne maison a Ă©tĂ© amĂ©nagĂ©e et dĂ©corĂ©e avec beaucoup de soins et de goĂ»t. C’est un lieu plutĂŽt bien placĂ© pour rayonner. A conseiller pour ceux qui sont allergiques au bĂ©ton d’Adeje.
