We offer another 2-bedroom/1-bath unit for 6-8 guests, a 2-bedroom/2-bath units for 10 guests, and a 3-bedroom/3-bath unit for 13 guests . Perfect for family gatherings—rent all four units for a private, yet communal vacation experience!

Pet-Friendly:

We welcome friendly, housebroken dogs with a $100 pet fee per dog (subject to weight and breed approval).

We so enjoyed staying at Almost Heaven. The house was perfect for our family and our dog, Charlie, for his first trip to the beach. Everything was as described, and you just can’t beat that oceanfront view and easy beach access. We had everything we needed for a fun family vacation. We loved being able to walk to the different restaurants, too. The owner, Elise, was responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

We had a really nice trip to Almost Heaven, The location is wonderful and the facilities are nice. Elise was very attentive with any issues that came up and resolved them quickly. My only suggestion would be to add more towel racks and/or hooks to hang bathroom and beach towels.

Almost Heaven on the ocean!

If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation with excellent amenities and views, “Almost Heaven” is your destination! Lovely condo, plenty of space, comfortable sleeping arrangements and the oceanfront deck will have you not wanting to leave. Plus, the small pups in your family will enjoy sunning themselves on the deck and walking just a couple of blocks to the dog park. The location was amazing with restaurants and ice cream shops only a 1-2 minute walk around the corner. Elise was an excellent and friendly host who was only a phone call away if needed for anything. We will definitely be booking again!

Wonderful respite

The property is centrally located between two state parks, minutes from Myrtle Beach and less than two blocks from several local restaurants. The beach is clean and wide and great for walking or just sitting on the deck and watching for dolphins and sea birds. The owner was really helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The unit is nice and cozy and offered a much needed place for relaxing and recharging our spirits.

I’m just here for the view!

While the home is desperately in need of a deep clean and updating, the view made up for any dissatisfaction on the inside. Sitting on the deck for hours and watching the storm roll in was worth the trip!

Great location. Comfortable beds. If you have 6 to 8 people it is a tight fit. They say pet friendly but it is more pet tolerant. Read there pet rules. Only one bathrooms

so glad you were comfortable and enjoyed your stay. Regarding the "tight squeeze", you did choose the smallest unit we have that sleeps a MAX of 8 people; we also have a 2 bedroom 2 bath and a three bedroom three bath. Maybe next time you can try one of the larger units? Regarding "pet friendly", we welcome many breeds and sizes and sizes and love all friendly pets. If you did not feel you pet was welcomed, we would like to know why as we always look for ways to improve.

What a view!

Elise, the owner was at the property just about every day to make sure everybody was happy. Had a a little problem with the TV. She immediately went out and bought a new TV. She knows how to take care of her guest. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place on the beach to stay there. Thanks for the hospitality

Price for the place

The house was clean but needs an update the doors and windows are too old and make me feel unsafe. Too expensive for what they offer. I will recommend to spend some money in updating the place.

Little House By The Ocean

Convenient for direct beach access. Within walking distance to the fishing pier, however was closed for modifications. The power did go out for 2hrs during a bad storm. No flashlights available but our cell phones worked. The accessibility to the bathroom toilet was difficult for elderly. Overall experience was good.

Fall Break @ the Beach

We were skeptical about the conditions giving a Hurricane a week before, but it was beautiful. The calm after the storm was just breathtaking. We got to meet the owner, who was very friendly. They made sure that we had chairs, toys for the beach, etc. They went above and beyond to make the trip super easy with kids. We will definitely be back!

Everything was just as described,very clean,was a little worried since dogs are allowed but you would never know, we took our dog and everything was great would highly recommend for anyone wanting to bring their dog or not.

Older property...overpriced

Although overall, the apartment we stayed at in this 4-5 unit house was okay. The shower is not for a big man as you are unable to wash your feet in a less than three by three square. The toilet is tucked away (about two feet from the sink) and a tight fit for a large person...but doable with care and caution. Other people were smoking outside their apartments and the smoke drifted into ours...not pleasant but sufferable. Best thing about this place is the owner is very responsive and available.

Perfect Beach getaway!!

We loved this place! It was so very clean and the location was excellent.It is within walking distance to some great restaraunts. We really enjoyed the back deck view of the ocean. We sat out there and really enjoyed the view and the nice breeze. The owner was very sweet and easy to communicate with. And most of all it is pet friendly. We now have a favorite beach spot!
