Condo has been updated with coastal plank Porcelain tile throughout, stainless steel kitchen appliances, Grey Sofa with a recliner on each end, floor lamps, new bath vanities and mirrors, new shower and new tile around bathtub and entire condo painted on inside.

No Pets or no Smoking. Sandy Shores is a non smoking building. Check in 2 pm. Check out 10 am. Free Parking, Wireless Internet & cable.

Your home away from home except you are on the beach. It has everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, 3 flat screen tvs, wireless internet, blue ray dvds, beach chairs & umbrella, towels & beach accessories/toys so you do have to bring all that with you. Also books, puzzles, games, cards. Make your vacation memories here.

New updates 2020 : New king bed, installed Coastal wood porcelain tile throughout the condo, all new Stainless Steel Kitchen appliances, New Vanities and mirrors in both bathrooms that have tub/shower combo, New Sectional Sofa in Living room, and painted new coastal colors throughout condo.

To maintain the beauty of Sandy Shores, June 2019 we just finished a 1.5 million dollar renovation on the outside of the building and the pool/barbeque area.

Prefer if you would please book Sat-Sat as most guests book then because of their vacation work schedule. Otherwise you are breaking up 2 weeks and the balance of the 2 weeks is difficult to book. Thank you so much for understanding.

We had a great time walking the beach each morning, and swimming after lunch.

The property was good. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, which we did because of the Corona Virus. Our only complaint was the floor; it was so dirty that we had to wash our feet every night before going to bed.

My family and I had the most amazing time staying at sandy shores in Crystals place. The location couldn't have been any more perfect- right on the beach and right across the street to all the food and shops your heart desires. The condo was more than sufficiently stocked with everything you could need, including all beach accessories and a ton of travel sized hygiene products. Being on the first floor also was fantastic as we had quick and easy access to downstairs. We will definitely be back!

Great Location

I was a stranded traveler due to another owner canceling on me 2 hours before check in. Crystal was amazing! She held on the phone with me while VRBO sat up a same day check in. Knowing I was stressed and had been sitting on the road for hours, she even told us to help ourselves to the beer and wine that was there. The property is quite comfortable and on the beach. The king bed was excellent and this property had one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever encountered. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great condo! Everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation is provided. Very comfortable home. Our family loved the place. Beach is beautiful and clean and was never overcrowded. We also enjoyed the nice pool. Grill area right next to large shaded picnic table made for nice outdoor meals. Condo kitchen well stocked with any cooking utensils you might need. Also well stocked with beach towels. We have rented this condo twice & will be back!

a beautiful beach

The property had recently been renovated, very pretty. A little mix-up on my part, thought it was ocean front, just a small ocean view from balcony, but, again, the unit was perfect inside. Crystal was easy to get hold of, had an issue with the internet and tv being out when we arrived, not her fault, she got it resolved, and the a/c unit had a leak which was finally resolved. All in all, a very nice vacation, and crystal seems like a wonderful person!

Love the Sandy Shores condo property, but our unit was disappointing. Floors were very dirty... needed mopping. Unit was outdated and furnishings were worn.

Access to everything and a little more...

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend! Right on the beach, nice pool, directly across from John's Pass, trolley stop and cross walk right out front. Condo is on the first floor and so cozy and comfortable. Everything provided we needed and more. Lots of extra things that I was not able to bring on the plane but so glad we had. I can't say enough kind words about Crystal, the owner. I had a couple things come up that had nothing to do with the condo or our stay but reached out to her and she went above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend this condo for your stay. You'll be glad you came!! Thanks Crystal for an awesome 5 day stay!

Easy beach access

Let me start by saying my negative review has nothing to do with the property owner, Crystal is very personable and accommodating. Location is great if you are looking for easy access to restaurants, shopping and water activities, not a good location if you prefer not to be on a crowded beach as property is next to a public beach access. When I search for property I always put in beach front and view, this property is a side unit and does not have a beach view, unless you stand in the corner of the balcony, this was very disappointing to me, my family and I only get one vacation a year, I like to be able to sit in the living room and look at the ocean, I should have ask more questions. so that's a lesson learned. The last day of vacation we couldn't use the the pool because about 12 couples checked in, they were drinking, loud and took over the shallow end of the pool, where the kids swim, again this is out of the property owners control.. Condo is in need of a deep cleaning and new living room furniture. On a more positive note, being on the 1st floor was great. easy beach and pool access. Crystal has everything you need to enjoy the beach. chairs, cooler, toys and beach towels. Kitchen is stocked with everything you will need.

Scammed! Offended! Blindsided! Frustrated! Stressed! Endangered! Unsafe! 0 Star review!

Those were a few of our feelings after spending 14 days at Sandy Shores in Madeira Beach, Florida. On 2/22/18, 15 days before we were scheduled to check in, 185 days after we booked, we received this email from the condo owner Crystal: "To maintain the beauty of Sandy Shores, this week 2/19/18 we have started construction repairs on the outside of the building M-F starting at 8:30am. We will also be working on the condo balconies, at some time during this construction, at which time the balcony will be closed. Completion date is app 8/18. The pool will remain open and then there is always the beach." Crystal then went on to say to contact her if we had any problems. Here are a few important things Crystal didn't add: The "outside of the building" was actually the parking garage at ground level sitting DIRECTLY BELOW every condo unit in the building! Most of the garage was designated for hard hats! The elevator, stair wells, pool, & the beach, were accessed only through the garage! (They had temporary walk paths "netted off" while hard hat workers jack hammered concrete from the ceiling overhead. As if, the nets made us feel safe!) THE NOISE! The noise was incessant, it was loud & continual for 8 hours a day M-F! Crystal's unit is on the first floor. Much of the jack hammering was below our feet and it started every morning at 8:15 AM sharp. The NOISE level increased each day. By the end of week 2 the NOISE measured decibel levels of 111 on a decibel meter we placed inside the condo. A referenced decibel comparison chart said a prolonged 80 -90 level can damage you. Bottom line: Ownership should not be leasing these properties during major construction. It's unacceptable & pure greed to do so! You could not escape the noise anywhere in the complex. The pool area was worse than the condo. We should have been given proper notice of the scope of work, far enough in advance to make other arrangements if we chose. We should have been offered a substantially discounted price, or a total refund far in advance of the trip. When we complained to the office, we were told to talk to Crystal. When we complained to Crystal we got no satisfaction. She repeatedly said we were told as soon as she knew. That is false! The office told us construction started in December! We spent a considerable sum for the 2 weeks. Crystals best offer was a $190 refund. A small pittance of the total cost. We turned it down on principle! Very disappointed! WORSE VACATION EVER!!

Perfect vacation

Everything about this place was perfect! Location- across the street from John's Pass, pool right there & beach on the other side! The condo was perfect & Chrystal has everything there you'd want or need- beach towels, chairs, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, cooler! She worked with us when our flights got changed & was so easy to communicate with! We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

We stayed for the first time at this condo. The condo was very nice, clean, filled with everything you need. The location is literally across from John's Pass, which makes it a prime local, the pool is fantastic, the beach is wonderful, and I loved everything about this place. I will definitely be rebooking here next time we stay.

Didn't start renting my property until 2011. I live 35 miles away on intracoastal property for our boat. Just looking for someone to enjoy & preserve my beach condo getaway as much as I do! It is so heavenly here. I stay here whenever I get the opportunity.

Fishing, Boating, Shopping, Restaurants, bars, dancing, Jet skiing, Parasailing, music, gambling boat, site seeing cruises....... You can also catch the Beach/city bus right in front of the building takes you all along the beaches, to Downtown St Pete and the mall.

Gulf breezes massage the soul. Fire-tinged sunsets create lifelong memories. Welcome to Madeira Beach, where some say the term “paradise” was created. From historic John’s Pass Village where fantastic shopping, dining, and nightlife await, to our pristine 2-mile long stretch of sand, Madeira Beach is the perfect escape from, well, everything!

What makes this property unique

Paradise on the gulf, enjoying the pool/ barbeque area that faces and is on the beach/gulf. My condo is totally furnished so you don't have to lug as much in your car or on the plane. Past guests have said it is home away from home but on the beach.
