In this beautiful oceanfront place, located in Kahana, the blue waters meet the vibrant green surroundings to make it a perfect haven. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the breath taking ocean views. Unwind in the cozy living room, or step out onto the balcony to soak in the breathtaking beach views. You will appreciate the spaciousness of our place as it is not some small hotel unit that has 3 bedrooms the size of closets that you will find on most of the 2 or 3 bedoom units on Maui.

Our place is a 5th floor oceanfront unit at the Sands of Kahana resort. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 lanais. There is over 1,850 square feet for you, your family and friends to spread out, relax and enjoy your stay while on Maui. From our living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and the lanais you will experience ocean views along with the views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. You should be able to see whales from our lanais when the whales are spending the December to April timeframe in the warm waters of western Maui after their long travels from Alaska later in the year. In addition, over the past few years, many turtles have moved to the Kahana Beach area and many past guests have seen turtles roaming around the beach waters at the Sands of Kahana.

Indulge in the resort-style amenities at the Sands of Kahana, including a refreshing outdoor pool, a rejuvenating hot tub, a children's pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, fitness centers, free parking for as many cars as you would like and an oceanfront, on site restaurant / bar that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with early evening happy hours with fabulous sunset views.

If you want to make your own meals instead of going out every day and night, our kitchen comes with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and other necessary appliances to whip up delectable meals. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There are also barbeque grills on the grounds that are cleaned every day and ready for your use. For your island food and drinks, once you land on Maui, there is a Costco and Walmart right outside the main airport exit. There are also supermarkets a few miles away from our place.

For your planning purposes, our master bedroom is located adjacent to the living room and the bigger lanai. This room has a king size bed and it has its own bathroom. Between the living room and the master bedroom there are 4 floor to ceiling doors that easily slide on a track. These doors can be used in the evenings to create a wall between these rooms and provide privacy. You can still enter the lanai from the master bedroom and the living room as there are 2 sliding doors to enter and exit the lanai. In the mornings, these floor to wall doors easily slide back into a wall slot so you can create the wonderful open space of this unit in the living room, dining room, master bedroom and lanai.

The 2nd bedroom has its own separate lanai. This bedroom is so big it has a king bed and a queen bed. The second bathroom is located just outside the entrance of this bedroom. Each bathroom has its own wall mounted hair dryers so you do not need to bring that with you. We also provide 8 large beach towels in the unit when you arrive for you to use during your stay.

The 3rd bedroom has two extra long twin beds. If you want, these 2 beds can made into a king bed.

The living room is so big we are able to provide two queen sofa sleepers. With the use of these sleepers and the beds in the bedrooms we can accommodate up to 12 people staying at our unit.

Our place has complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi to keep you connected. If you need it during your stay, each bedroom has a TV and there is a smart TV with streaming and cable channels for your entertainment. We recently placed a new air conditioning unit at our place to keep you cool during humid and hot days. Most days though you can feel the nice tropical breezes that blow through our unit. We also have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room to help with the air flow in our unit.

Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine and dryer in our unit, as well as a variety of games and beach toys in one of the closets to keep the whole family entertained. For the little ones, we do have a high chair seat, and a pack and play. There are places on the island that do rental baby equipment if you need something else. We would be glad to provide you with this type of information.

Explore the nearby top attractions, such as the renowned Kaanapali Beach, just an 8-minute drive away, and the serene Napili Bay, just a 4-minute drive from your doorstep. Discover the vibrant Whalers Village, a mere 8-minute drive away, where you can shop, dine, and immerse yourself in the local culture. The town of Lahaina is about 10 minutes away.
