Hale Hui Kai is a very special, closest to the ocean, 40 unit complex on beautiful Keawakapu beach. No better location, excellent oceanfront property that guests enjoy year after year. Walking distant to restaurants, beautiful sunsets, the ultimate in beachfront living.

The BEST location on Maui. The sandy beach is just a few steps down a private walkway. Perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, swimming, snorkeling or lounging. Frequent turtles and colorful fish, and the humpback whales in the winter season.
You can also enjoy long walks on the mile long pristine white sand beach to Wailea. Outdoor shower, lounge chairs and deep seated sofa and chairs to enjoy the ocean view and sunsets. Shaded outdoor area with tables and chairs for your comfort

Unit 103 is a private two bedroom, two full bath beach condo, tastefully appointed that sleeps 6 comfortably. Each room is individually air conditioned for comfort control. Bedrooms have a private door, NOT a loft or semi private slider as many 2 bedrooms in this area. Each bedroom has its own smart flat screen tvs, windows that close with ceiling fans and individually controlled air conditioning. There is a king bed in the master, 2 twin beds in second bedroom that can be converted to another king, and a comfortable memory foam queen size fold out sleeper sofa. It has a full kitchen with stainless steel LG stove, french door with water and ice maker refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is a beautiful tropical private Lanai (patio) right outside and double sliders that open into this garden area to bring the outdoors inside. There is free wireless internet, fiberoptic and streaming TV, Total of 3 flat screen tv's.

Laundry is full size int he unit and there is free parking. You have a close walk to paddle board rentals, a deli / general store, activity desk and multiple restaurants.

If you want privacy, relaxation, fun in the sun and the ocean experience, this is the only place to consider. Hale Hui Kai boarders Kihei and Wailea in the perfect Maui Hawaii location.

Perfect location if you are looking for a relaxing stay walking distance from the beach. The small pool was not busy, my 13 and 10 year old enjoyed playing games and having the pool to themselves most of our stay. The beach is beautiful, with tons of opportunities for snorkeling and body surfing for younger kids. Nearby restaurants short driving distance. The apartment had everything we needed.

Great location on the beach in south Kihei, very near to Wailea beaches as well. Good swimming and snorkeling, great sunsets. Property is very clean and well maintained. Good space in condo, we had everything we needed.

We traveled with our 3 kids for a wedding & were concerned immediately because the exterior door didn’t lock from inside only outside. Our 5 year old has special needs and so we were uncomfortable not having a door that locked which we would have been uncomfortable with any small child. To her credit the host came and added a high lock so we were able to lock the main exterior door. She suggested we slide the large high top dining table in front of the sliding doors and we did. Kitchen and bathrooms were ok and the master bed was very comfy. Plenty of extras of things. While the location is stellar, and the beach is pretty , I am not sure this is a place to bring kids under 18. The very first morning after landing we finally took our kids to the pool at 8:30am local time. It was after lunch back home and they were stir crazy, a super rude staff member- “coach” comes over and rudely says “the pool is closed you need to get out now”. We started getting out and he says “you need to get out now”. The posted pool sign says nothing about hours and the (lockable) pool was neither locked or any closed signage. When my minimally verbal, autistic child began to cry at getting out of pool, “coach” said “and it’s also quiet hours too” and looked at us with disgust. We never could find posted rules at the pool so use telepathy there. There IS signage EVERYWHERE that says “quiet”. This is FINE for retired adults but not kids on vacation. If you are traveling with kids look elsewhere.

Hi, I am happy to hear your review relates the location is Stellar, the beach is pretty, the master bed is very comfy and there are plenty of extras supplied with the unit. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for all of our guests. We have many repeat guests year after year that come with thier children and grandchildren. Regarding some of the items you did not like about the unit, I do want to clarify that all of the doors do lock, but they were not equipted with a secondary lock higher than a standard door lock that your 5 year old could not reach or work. I did have an emergency secondary lock installed high on the main door without hesitancy and within an hour of check in time. I can't respond to your interaction with our manager regarding the early morning pool experience as I was not there. I can say the time stamp from your email sent to me through the vrbo site about the experience was 7:10 am and you stated "I have no idea what time we were at the pool and my child was screaming...." So the experience at the pool was some unknown time before 7:10 am not 8:30 as you are relating to other potential guests. All I can say is this is not the only misrepresentation. We do have pool hours and quiet hours for the enjoyment of ALL of our guests. I do hope you still enjoyed your time visiting our lovely island and can find a more suitable place for your liking next time. Our guests and potential guests are welcome to look through all of our other reviews and make thier own decisions regarding where they would like to stay. With much Aloha.

Great place!

Can’t beat the views and proximity to the beach with this stay. Comfortable accommodations with a well stocked kitchen. Our only initial challenge was from the description for bedroom 2 (two twins “or” a king bed - not “and” as listed), but it worked out fine for us since the couch was a sleeper sofa. We’d stay here again! Kim is a responsive and accommodating host.

Perfect Location and Condo

This was a perfect location for our family to do many excursions incuding deepsea fishing, snorkeling tour to Molokini and a Luau, all less than 15 minutes away. It was also the perfect spot for just enjoying the beautiful beach right infront of the complex. The condo had everything we needed to cook in or bring food back and sit outside at the private patio. Another plus was it was also equipped with beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas!
