Warm, spacious musician's home with old Hollywood bungalow charm. Tree filled lot with 45 ft fenced pool (unheated but warm July -Sept), patio/barbecue area and lawn. Living space has open floor plan with high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, bay windows, woodburning fireplace and eat-in kitchen. Living room is entertainment focused with 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, surround sound, cable//DVD and a baby grand piano. Dining room seats 5-6 comfortably. Computer area has antique desk, printer, 5G, and high speed wireless internet. Master bedroom has queen bed, French doors to deck and yard, large closet with overhead suitcase storage, and 40" Smart TV. Master bath has two-person jacuzzi tub/shower with antique vanity and bidet. Second bedroom has double bed, additional single bed and 40" Smart TV. Queen sleeper sofa in living room and single rollaway bed in closet.
Musicians Dream is a single family home on a double lot. Tenants have private use of the house, backyard, pool and tenant driveway (left side of property.) Owners occupy right side of property (fenced, no shared space). There is a Ring doorbell and Ring camera on the front porch.

The property is gorgeous. The beautiful antiques, the wood floor, the amazing gorgeous stove in the kitchen. Everything was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to come again soon!

We loved or stay so much! The house was lovely and even better than described in the listing. It felt like coming home and receiving a comforting hug. We will stay here everyone we visit the area.

Comforts of Home

Our second months-long stay in this lovely, warm home. The exceptionally attentive hosts even found a generator to keep power on during an extended outage. They made sure that we were comfortable. We look forward to another visit.

Fantastic Property!

This property was amazing. Its charm and privacy were superb. Hosts obviously thought of everything, from extra tissues and towels all the way to laundry detergent and even a sippy cup ( we didnt need this, but appreciate it as parents who once travelled with littles). We were so sad to leave, and would definitely stay with these hosts again.

Home Away From Home With Easy Access To Everything

This is our second stay with Steve and Jeannine, and it was just as perfect as the first time around. The house has all the comforts one wants during vacation. The pool is the real star - my kiddos wanted to swim every day, even after we visited the local beaches. It was easy to access the local highways and sightsee around town. Jeannine and Steve are extremely easy to communicate with and very friendly hosts.

The house is absolutely lovely, a perfect little oasis and close to everything we needed for a 4 day trip. It was exactly right for our party - one adult, 2 teens - with 2 bed 2 bath and 3 beds. The house itself is completely charming, managing both character and comfort. It’s even better than in the photos, truly. My daughter literally gasped when we pulled in, it was like finding a forest cottage after the freeways of LA. The hosts have done such a wonderful job at anticipating needs but making it feel private. The backyard and pool were absolutely lovely, and the gated front yard was beautiful and calm. It was also so nice to have access to a kitchen with everything you need - it made mornings more relaxing for us. Gelson’s is just down the street! I really appreciated having off street parking. We all wished we had planned more down time to just spend at the house.

Very nice house

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. In warmer weather it would have been lovely to enjoy the pool and outdoor dining area. Unfortunately we were there in a rare rainy week. The house was conveniently located. There’s a grocery store just a block or two away and some restaurant options nearby. The neighborhood is lovely for walking. And it’s just minutes to the highway to easily get anywhere. We had a great stay!

Lovely Spot to explore LA from

The house was very well stocked and laid out. The master bedroom and en-suite were lovely and the bed was comfortable. I had challenges with the wifi, it did not have a very strong signal and I could barely check e-mail. The garden and pool area was beautiful, too bad it wasn't a bit warmer for us to enjoy pool but we did enjoy our breakfast and coffee by the pool each morning. The booking process was very easy and our deposit was refunded very quickly. Overall I would stay here again and recommend the place to friends.

Absolutely SUPER!

A huge pool, all for us! The home is clean, spacious, full of surprises like toys for the kids discovered in one closet and warm housecoats if needed discovered in another. And a backyard for the kids to play in with a strong fence between the yard and the pool. Everything they could think of to make us comfy was there. Not only is there a computer with internet. There is a printer! And tons of premium TV stations for us and for the kids. Extra blankets and lots of towels. The kitchen is fully loaded and the cupboards have some staples to welcome our arrival. This is our second stay in this wonderful place. We look forward to our third.

What a perfect home to stay in when visiting Hollywood. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were clear instructions for everything. There was plenty of everything (towels, shampoo, soap, silverware...). Wish we could have stayed longer. Jeannine and Steve were fantastic hosts! Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful home in a nice and convenient neighborhood. We'ver rented several homes in this area and I was impressed with the space, comfort and features The neighborhood is very walkable (though without sidewalks) and is convenient to highways, stores, coffe shops, and restaurants.

This was our fourth time staying and we always feel at home and welcome. The owners are very courteous and attentive. The house has everything you need. You barely need to pack anything, just your clothes. The market is just around the corner. Great for grabbing what you need. Target with the groceries wasn’t too far away either.

The property is as described. It really is a beautiful yard and setting. The pool was a big factor in our choice for the property and it did not disappoint. The landscaping and atmosphere was very relaxing. There was a lot of privacy in the yard. The location is great for Universal Studios too.

Perfect place for our L.A. stay with adult children

Beautiful yard and pool in a quiet neighborhood that is close to all the action. Great place to land at the end of our busy days. We're a musical family, and really enjoyed gathering around the piano, too! Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Definitely recommend!

Great base camp for taking the kiddos to Universal Studios

Beautiful and meticulously kept, Craftsmen-era Hollywood home was perfect for my wife, me, and three of our grandkids (ages 10-8) to visit Universal Studios theme park (the kids are big Harry Potter fans). The park is 10 minutes away, so we got there at the opening bell (9 a.m.), hit the most popular rides with minimal wait times (15 minutes) and then left around 1pm when both the temps and the crowds were rising. Headed back to the house and let the kids frolic in the pool to cool off. Great location!

Amazing property!

This house exceeded our expectations! The inside of the house was definitely spacious enough for the five of us. The furnishings and the overall vibe of the house was very cozy and homey, but not cramped. The beds were very comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, and there were a good amount of basic supplies, including sunscreen and bug spray and basic seasonings in the kitchen. The retro stove was a cool added touch!The pool area was very well maintained, as was the outside greenery. Loved the multiple places to hang out in the backyard.Steve & Jeannine were very responsive throughout. We would definitely rent this place again next time we go to LA!

Perfect home away from home stay!

Our stay here was incredibly comfortable. This was by far the best-stocked of any vacation rental we have ever stayed in -- everything from choices of pillows, to comfy throws for watching t.v., to ziplok bags in the kitchen -- the hosts put a lot of thought and care into making a stay here a true home away from home experience. The pool was great, and we loved being able to cook on the grill poolside. Plenty of pool towels available, and we appreciated the clothesline to be able to dry swimsuits and towels!Finally, the location was super convenient to everywhere we planned to go, and pizza and grocery stores are nearby. For fun, Universal is literally just a few minutes away.
