Great pet friendly place- an outdoor hose to rinse off with made it easier to go for long walks. Host was attentive and friendly. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t receive text communications in a timely manner- The company is very thorough with clear directions the day or two before the stay. Lovely beach and bayou!

Condo was clean (of utmost importance to me!), and well stocked with updated furnishings....very comfortable. It is on the gulf side (no gulf view), however it a short walk to the beach located directly behind the complex. It is ground level and all on one level, so it is convenient for people with limited mobility. If you have a pet, it has a grassy area to walk them outside the back door. It also has a nice little patio with grill. We were very pleased with it.

Great time

We enjoyed our stay very much! Would Vrbo this property again. No complaints of noise, seen a lot of those on the review, stayed at the beach everyday and the pool at least 4 times. Be a good guest and follow the agreements and everything was stress free, quiet and the accommodations were as clean as a hotel, left it how we found it. Check in and out was easy! Thank you for having us 🙂

Pet hair was everywhere and the listing advertised to sleep 6 with pull out couch. I had to call and message multiple times to get sheets which were finally brought hours later and never got blankets. Plus the pullout mattress was dirty and needed to be covered. Also had ants in the kitchen and next to patio door. Maintenance did come out and put traps. Location was as described and very convenient to the beach. Be aware the washer and dryer are in the hallway outside the condo which was fine. I just had to call to find them because it was not stated anywhere. Also I had to keep asking for location and check in information which was not fun after a long travel day. Apparently their text service is not the most reliable. The extra room does.habe a full size and twin size mattress and the bathrooms were pretty clean. The kitchen is pretty basic as advertised.

We’re very sorry your stay at Beach on a Budget fell short of expectations. Thank you for calling out these specific issues — pet hair, the pullout mattress and linens, ants, unclear washer/dryer location, and problems with check-in messaging. This is not the standard we expect. Since your stay we have: - Performed a deep clean of the unit and updated our pet-hair removal checklist for housekeeping. - Had pest control treat and monitor for ants. We appreciate the note about the convenient location and the cleaner bathrooms. We’ve sent a message via Vrbo to discuss your experience further and address any unresolved concerns. Beach bums

We had a great stay, although we had some harassing communications from the property HOA over items that didn’t even belong to us. Outside of that, we didn’t have any complaints. Close proximity to beach, my kids were able to swim and play pickleball with neighbors. Within walking distance of several restaurants and the pier. Easy walk to the beach to watch the fireworks on the 4th! Definitely recommend.

Living room nicely decorated. Kitchen and bathroom need work

Good location for beach and several restaurant in walking distance. Dog friendly with a convenient dog walking area. Windows are cloudy and hard to see through, also full of cobwebs. Very good response to any small issues we had.

Thank you for the review. We are addressing the window issues, we have ordered all new windows and they will be replaced. This is a very nice affordable and pet friendly 2br condo, ground floor with easy access to the beach, pool, and tennis courts. Thank you for recognizing we do take care of issues very quickly and although not sure what you mean by the bathroom and kitchen we will investigate and fix/upgrade as necessary. Gulf Coast Getaways
