Cottage on Mink River Road

This 1930's vertical log cottage has been remodeled and added on to. It is located about a mile outside of Ellison Bay on Mink River Road. It is on a 5 acre piece of property and a nice quiet setting.
The cottage has a wrap around porch to enjoy your morning coffee.
The cottage is decorated with antique furnishings.
There is a full size kitchen with all that is needed to enjoy your stay.
The bathroom has a 48" shower. In the living room there a gas fireplace.
The bedroom downstairs has a full size bed. There is also a large whirlpool in the bedroom.
Upstairs there are two beds, one full and one twin.

This little house felt like a visit to Grandma’s. We especially enjoyed the porch. There was even a little walking path. The whole experience was comfortable and charming.

Great place to stay just off the beaten path

Close to the hustle and bustle but a quiet place to sit and relax. The place was clean, we’ll set up. We all enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place for you to stay.

Perfect private place for anyone wanting to be away from it all. We had bad luck with the mosquitoes, but that’s uncontrollable. On clear nights such as what we enjoyed, the stars are outstanding. House is well outfitted and check-in and out a breeze.

Place matched the description very well and worth the price. Very cozy, cottage feel and neat building. Its a little secluded, which has pros and cons. Quiet and peaceful but you have to drive to get to food or activities. We had very weak cell service so the lack of WiFi was annoying at times but lots of the area had poor service so I wouldn't blame it on the property so much as emphasized that WiFi is nice to have by Ellison bay.

Family Time

We all enjoyed our time especially sitting on the porch. Used the living room for evening game night and relaxed by fireplace. We even had a friendly game of bags in the yard that the owner had on the property.

We loved it!

We had an excellent stay. Very clean, and Andrea was extremely accommodating. This is a great location. It's a nice secluded area, relaxing and quiet but just a few minute drive from restaurants, farmers markets, parks, etc. We would definitely stay again.

So Cute! Great location!

Went on a weekend getaway girls’ trip for Labor Day weekend. The house was perfect. Great location. Convenient to get to our one day trip up to Washington Island and equally convenient to access Sister Bay and all of the other towns on the peninsula. Excellent host. Would definitely stay again!

End of College Getaway with our Children

The location was good for going to multiple places with a short distance to travel. We were headed to Rock Island State Park as our major attraction. The hostess was very helpful with information on ferry rides and in general as the girls had never been in the area. We would visit again.
