This cottage is so welcoming, lovely and comfortable. It was spotless, with all the amenities you’d need. Communication with the host was excellent.I would definitely recommended to my friends and hope to return!
So happy to stay in such a nice place. Cottage was set in a private wooded lot, plenty of space inside and out. Comfortable and clean, everything organized and neat. Pet friendly too! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and/or explore the beautiful Berkshires.
Great house with plenty of room for 3 couples. Big living room with a wood stove, great deck to hang out on too. The whole place was hidden away down a long driveway.
Modest home in the Berkshires. Clean with great attention to detail (bathroom toiletries, kitchen accessories, etc.). Roller shade in back bathroom has a broken mounting (easy fix).
We would stay there again! And love the history of the Hart family in Williamstown and beyond.
We stayed at the property for a graduation. It was perfect for that. There was plenty of room to have a small graduation party on the lovely deck. The house was very peaceful at night for good sleeping. We left the air conditioners off and opened windows. The kitchen is fairly well appointed for cooking and we also used the charcoal grill.
The property was fantastic for our two night stay. We were four adults and a two year old and the house was perfect. The photos don’t reflect the large size of the house and grounds. It’s very spacious and extremely well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. The host, Brenda, was extremely easy to communicate with. Check in and check out was a breeze. I highly recommend staying here!

Comfy beds
I want to start with the positive. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. There is good free wi-fi and we had no issues using the televisions. The games and puzzles are a thoughtful touch. Checking in and out was super easy and communication with the owner was prompt and kind.
We knew that the property was formerly a camp and was
WOW we were blown away with the history of this property. What an honor to stay in such a house of love. We would have loved to met Dr. Hart. What an extraordinary human being. The living room is huge and inviting. The air conditioning was perfect! Two separate suites with a full bath for each. Perfect for families. Private, peaceful, beautiful. Thank you Ms Hart the property was perfect for us. We want to reserve again same time next year. Thanks again for sharing this historic treasure.

Beautiful Scenery
The cottage is located on beautiful property. The area is great for walking. Also, the history of the cottage is remarkable.
The property was fine for our limited needs. Quiet location and pretty much as described. Less than 5-stars because the place was only surface clean IMO
Our family of 3 and my parents in-laws (total of 5) spent 2 nights in the cottage. The location, close to the beautiful and delish Store at Five Corners, made our stay very enjoyable. The bedrooms organization and overall space is very well thought ans utilized. The wooden stove seems like a great addition especially for humid days. The host was extremely efficient and check-in/check-out was very simple. We appreciated the late check-out offer which added few hours to our Sunday in town.
This property was perfect for the 3 couples I traveled with - the layout of the house provided plenty of space to move about and relax in, and the location was very peaceful and charming. It was clean and had all the necessities we needed.

Comfortable and quiet
This property was exactly as expected. It's a cottage in the woods and our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We spent a lot of time in the big open room, walking around the property and enjoying nearby Williams College. Be prepared for the occasional critter as the cottage is literally amongst nature. We will definitely be returning soon.
