Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing due to several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The property was not adequately cleaned and had a noticeable musty odor. The dehumidifier in the basement contained moldy water, which was concerning. Sheets were also missing, and the toilet was leaking.There was no ice maker available, which was an inconvenience. The property manager advised that a plumber would come to repair the leaking toilet, but no one ever arrived and the issue was not resolved during our stay.Overall, the property requires better cleaning, maintenance, and follow-through on reported issues.

No Wi-Fi/internet, spent over an hour trying resolve on our first night, most games missing pieces, Ping pong table pretty banged up, no sand for shuffleboard, driveway is very precarious, no directions for remotes/switches, vents missing covers etc. Beds were comfortable and clean

Our main issues were the damaged ping pong table with sharp edges (especially with children around). Getting to the parking from the main road was very steep and a second railing would have been more secure We found the cleaning less than acceptable with dust and surfaces we had to be wiped down, Also all the towels had "permanent looking" stains (we had to go buy our own towels and washcloths). Broken blinds in the kitchen did not have full coverage, so people would be able to see inside While toiletries are not listed in your amenities, renting a place for 12 people to stay we ran out of TP the almost immediately. I have never stayed anywhere that I had to get toilet paper. We had a good time as a family, but it could have been a nicer experience if we did not have these issues/concerns.

The place was real nice and clean. Plenty of room. Problems- we never managed to get connected to the internet. Everyone tried with the password. We called and emailed with no response. Without internet, no TV.It's not really set up for mature folks. The toilets set really low to the floor. Maybe some grab bars would help.Also it's quite a long walk from parking. This should be stressed more in the description. Also the steep driveway.

The place has some downsides - we couldn't get the downstairs TV to work, the air hockey table and ping pong table are generally not working, and the shuffleboard table needed sand. That said, it was substantially cheaper than most properties on the mountain, so we had modest expectations, and the value for the price was there.

If you need something accessible, this is not the best option for you. There is a hill/slope that you have to park on (security came by and kicked us off of the flat street) in addition to the steep stairs that must be descended to the front door. The space is nice, but there were quite a few deficiencies to the house, such as cracks in the wall and floorboards, awkward bathroom setups (to include mirrors and location), dirty and broken blinds, broken game room items (I expected this from previous reviews), and improper temperature regulation. We had turned the air on to cool the home and while the common spaces were comfortable, we were sweating in all of the bedrooms due to lack of vents/air flow. We are extremely grateful for a last minute accommodation for our situation and timing.

Easter family vacay

Perfect house for three family groups. 5 bedrooms & lots of space. We cooked all meals at home over our 3 night stay. The adults & kids enjoyed the pool at fitness center , and mini golf.kids enjoyed

Wonderful retreat

This was a great space for our family to stay simply for the game room and the multiple living rooms. The sleeping arrangements got tricky due to the arrangement of the beds. Overall it was great! We would definitely stay here again!

Great for multiple families! Super well stocked kitchen. The immersion blender totally saved my guacamole. There were even tons of spices!I wish it was closer to Shenandoah, but for the price we were happy to drive 30 minutes to the hike that we wanted to do. The host was really responsive and very accommodating.

Family Ski Trip

Our family ski trip was a success. Michelle’s place was very cozy. The beds were amazing and very comfortable. I think the little touches she gives the place made it very pleasant for us. It was very spacious and if you wanted some quiet time you can find it. I thought the downstairs was nice for our young adults to hangout. We would surely stay again

Nice visit

With spring rainy season, the steep driveway was a challenge upon arrival. The house was as expected and provided a great atmosphere for our family gathering. Very pleased with the well stocked kitchen. The downstairs shower had little water pressure so we had to use the upstairs shower. Would come again.

Big open spaces

The cousins loved being on the lowered level with a big TV, air hockey, foosball, games, etc. The adults stayed on the upper level with huge couch, comfy pillows, big dinning area. Beds were super comfy and we didn't have to worry about towels or linens.
