Front room with sofa, coffee table, side tables and chest of drawers. Toilet and sink. First floor: Double bedroom, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, bedside tables, balcony with fantastic views over the beautiful harbour and Mounts Bay. Double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. Small single bedroom with tallboy. Large bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and vanity unit, lovely views. There is carpet upstairs, laminate flooring downstairs and cushion flooring in the kitchen. Door from lounge to the outside, garage and patio area. Garden furniture and benches. Views over the harbour and Mounts Bay. The house is situated in a quiet residential area.
Newlyn is a busy fishing port, you can sit and watch the ever changing picture from the house inside or outside on the patio or balcony, it is a riot of colour. Go down to the market early in the morning and watch the fishermen land their fish. The colourful and bustling harbour, home to the well known 'Penlee Lifeboat', boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in England and offers several fish shops selling fresh locally caught fish and seafood daily. Well known for its artists community producing some of the finest artists, Newlyn is home to the 'Newlyn School of Art' and 'Newlyn Art Gallery' With a lovely pebbled beach that stretches for over a mile sat beside a large green that takes you on to the promenade of Penzance and the open air Jubilee pool, Newlyn is a perfect location for your holiday. Penzance and further afield....: The market town of Penzance is approximately 1 mile away, a lovely walk along the coast path and promenade. Here you will find shopping, historic buildings and architecture, cinema, restaurants, galleries, library, the beautiful Art Deco Jubilee Pool, the harbour and boat trips. It is here that you can catch the Scillonian for a day trip to the sub tropical Isles of Scilly. There is also a leisure centre for those rainy days. Golowan Festival takes place over ten days leading up to the last weekend in June when there are parades, music, entertainment on the streets of Penzance. There are many historic sites such as Levant mine, Lanyon Quoit, Chysauster, Merry Maidens, Truro Cathedral and Tintagel. Dotted around the coast are lovely beaches and hidden little coves for you to find and explore. Sennen, Porthcurno, St Ives, Gwithian and Marazion are very popular. Golf: Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure Resort is a truly unique place to relax, dine, or enjoy a game of golf on Britain's first and last 18 hole course.
Still further afield: St Ives has a thriving artist community and is home to the Tate Gallery 12 miles, Mousehole 2 miles, a lovely walk along the coast path or take a bus, Marazion and St Michaels Mount, 4 miles, Lands End 8 miles, Porthcurno and the Telegraph Museum, fascinating, 8 miles, Truro 30 miles, Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum 29 miles, Newquay 44 miles, St Austell and the Eden Project 48 miles and the Lizard Peninsula 26 miles are all within 1 hours drive. The whole of Cornwall is easily accessible with the River Tamar, the furthest north of the county being 1 1/2 hours away by car. There are good rail and bus links and beautiful walks on the South West Coast Path.
