3 Bed Plus Loft , 2 1/2 Bath vacation home with Attached Garage and Private Hot Tub, in the Wildernest area of Silverthorne.

Attached One Car GARAGE with oversize door (plenty of space for your rooftop box!)

Entrance Foyer with tons of seating and storage for ski boots and clothing.

Large Living Room with a 3 SIDED FIREPLACE and two seating areas.

Sorry, we do NOT have any TV channels. We do have a ROKU system which we can set to guest mode, allowing you to use your own login to access ESPN, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc.

Well equipped, modern, kitchen with granite counter-tops. Kitchen table seats 6 - 8, with an additional 3 seats at the breakfast bar,

Bedroom 1: Huge room with 2 queen size beds and en-suite bath

In winter, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. All local roads are paved but we are a suburban neighborhood so we do not receive as many visits from the snow plow as the major routes. The driveway is a gentle slope which can become slippery when snow becomes hard packed. Four wheel drive is also very useful in ski resort parking lots.

If you rent an SUV from the Denver International Airport, be sure to specifically request a 4WD. We have had guests order an SUV assuming it would be 4WD, and ended up with 2WD.

Conveniently located and quiet neighborhood. Hottub was clean and comfortable for 4 people. Kitchen well stocked and hosts even left us a bottle of wine. Plus access to the garage to bring our skiing gear instead of crowding up the entrance. Hanging by the fireplace was our favorite. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great trip! The condo and location are wonderful. We had some issues with the gas fireplace but figured it out on our own....wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great space for our group of 6. Kitchen roomy and generally has everything you need. Added a keurig which was really nice. Hot tub just one step from the house which was awesome. Amazing foyer for all our ski gear, shoes etc.

Amazing Property

The property was amazing. It was very clean and spacious. Nick left us a welcome gift, the wine helped warm us up when we arrived. The kitchen had everything you need. He also had a small reserve of condiments and coffee. Wow, the coffee was a plus for us. The rooms were very spacious and the beds comfortable and had everything you needed to sleep warm. Nick left us clear instructions on how to use the amenities such as the jazcucci, the fireplace and, if necessary, the snow blower.He kept in communication with us. Thank you Nick for letting us use your lovely home. My family had a great vacation.

Mountain getaway

Perfectly located home. We stayed there with six adults for a week of skiing at Copper Mountain. Easy accessibility to the interstate to quickly get to the ski resort. We loved the private hot tub and views from the house! We will definitely remember this home for our next trip to Colorado!

We had a great time. The hot tub was fantastic! the property is located between all the ski resorts that we utilize when we come to Summit County. The house is fully stocked. Having a washer and dryer was awesome as well. Definitely wanting to stay here again.

Center of the action

The Bears Den home is just as described and a great location to visit all the local ski resorts (Keystone, Breck, Vail, Copper, A-Basin). The wifi/internet was slow at times but may have been related to service disruptions during our stay. My family of 4 could not all be online at the same time performing normal social media updates or web browsing. Other than that minor inconvenience, I'd stay at the Bears Den again in the future.

The house was very spacious, all the amenities you needed were available, and the owner was very helpful and nice to deal with. Access to beautiful hiking trails right out the the front door was a great added bonus and there was so much to do in the surrounding areas. We kayaked on Lake Dillon, drove up to Breckenridge, and checked out some breweries with amazing scenery in Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco which were all close by! Hope to get back to CO again and have already recommended the Silverthorne area to a few fellow traveler friends!

Winter Getaway

We stayed 3 weeks at the Bear’s Den for a winter family getaway (2 parents 2 adult kids). The house is beautiful and perfectly kept. All amenities are thought of, from kitchen utensils to hair dryers. Very comfortable beds, lots of blankets and pillows, and lots of space. Could easily accommodate 8-10 people. Hot tub was perfect and the location simply cannot be beat. Nicky and Richard were very easy to get a hold of, as well. We will stay here again!

Great for Family Breck Trip

We loved our stay here with our 8 person family! The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of skiing and snowboarding. About 30 minutes from Breckenridge and 5 minutes to the town of Silverthorn. The kids also enjoyed the trail nearby for sledding in the snow. We would love to come again.

Beautiful home and location.

We loved this house for our family ski gathering. It easily accomodated 8 of us. It was just a short drive to the slopes. The home was very welll stocked, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Washer and dryer were handy too. We were able to spread out and never feel crowded. The hot tub was a favorite amoung the younger crowd. Others in our ski group were within a block, easy walk back and forth. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back in the summer. Nicky is very easy to work with and always responded in short order.

Why they chose this property

We bought The Bear's Den as a weekend mountain escape. We use it year round for skiing, hiking and mountain biking. We enjoy the fact that the house has all the comforts of home but still has a rustic, mountain feel.
