This property is a welcoming place to stay…very comfortable living space, great decks and yard…great location close to shops and beaches, historical spots…yet on a quiet street. Owners are wonderful people…could not have been a better stay…hope to return…

Perfect place to explore the area

We had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect for our needs. Clean, well appointed, safe neighborhood, and close to all the best to do. Mary was a gem! She took the time to give us recommendations on fun activities for our adult family of 6. There was also a binder in the kitchen with more suggestions and carefully thought out directions and important tips. Would not hesitate to stay here again. It’s a great place!

Comfortable and convenient

We loved our stay in Narragansett. I was in town visiting family with my two young children and my parents. The house was very comfortable for all of us with the separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom downstairs. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to town and the beaches. The backyard was great for the kids to run around. Mary was super responsive and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property or to stay again myself!

Family Fun in Narragansett

The property is exactly as it is described on VRBO. Perfect for a family in a quiet neighborhood close to many RI attractions. The accommodations were great with plenty of linens, kitchen supplies, nice yard with grill and firepit, and very clean and organized. Couldn't ask for more!

Great family home

The house was sparkling clean upon arrival. Excellent amenities that we got great use of: outside shower to rinse away the beach sand, kitchen supplies, beach chairs/towels, TV options, grill and fire pits, washer and dryer. Although the house didn't have central air conditioning, it had plenty of windows units and a bigger wall unit upstairs near the living room/kitchen that kept the house feeling comfortable. We had two 2 year olds staying in the house with us. Not perfectly toddler friendly but definitely a home that is more welcoming to younger ones. Easy to communicate with the hosts. We never had to reach out to them during our stay because everything was great and in working order. Our family would certainly return to the home and stay again! The perfect setting for our quiet family.

Narragansett Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Narragansett. It was our first time to the area and there was such a great variety of awesome things to do, most of which we were aware of through Mary's helpful and comprehensive expert suggestions prior to our arrival and because of the information available at the house. The house was excellently equipped and comfortable for our large family, and the decks and backyard were great for spreading out and allowing the children a big place to play in the evenings. We found the master bedroom and bath to be an oasis :) Mary was incredibly attentive, communicative, and always pleasant. We highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

So happy we were able to rent this home for the week. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower for our many beach days. The kids loved rolling down the hill in the backyard. We used the grill many times. The location to the beaches is great especially with kids. We loved being close to Brickleys. We walked there a couple times and the house is close to stores etc which is also convenient. We hope to come back again next time. Thanks for sharing your home!

Mary’s house was beautiful! Everything was clean ,the kitchen had everything you needed,outside deck area was a perfect hang out spot plenty of room for our large group it also helped that the weather was perfect! Highly recommend Mary’s house, we had a great time!!

Excellent Quiet Vacation Rental

I had an excellent time staying at this property. I look forward to returning next summer for a week. Plenty of room for guests. The house is 10 to 15 minutes away from the Narragansett Town Beach. 15 minutes away from grocery stores and other stores. Cool coffee shop within walking distance.

Great house!

Perfect for our small family. Loved the outdoor shower. Only thing that was unclear in the description is that the main house is air conditioned but the bedrooms were not. We were fine with the fans.

So glad you enjoyed your visit! The bedroom with the king size bed downstairs on the lower level DOES have A/C. Of course that room & the family room are below grade and have a tile floor so it is naturally a cool part of the home. On the main level, the central ductless A/C is designed to cool the two bedrooms effectively. We agree, the ceiling fans help in circulating the cool air and are pleased to hear they worked out well for you!

We appreciated our stay in Rhode Island. The house is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The house is well equiped and clean. There is a lot of stuff to do in Rhode Island, you won’t be disappointed . If there is an issue with the house, you can ask the owner and she will respond quickly. Mary is very courteous.

A terrific home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. My family and I were very impressed!

My family and I have rented several properties in Narragansett over the years and this one was easily the nicest. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and provided us with everything we needed to have a great vacation. The two-tiered back deck and outdoor shower were nice extras, as was the fire pit and vegetable garden! We were also happy with the location of this home. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, but it's also close to various stores and restaurants. On top of everything else, the OConnells were great to rent from. They seemed genuinely concerned that we were happy in their home and that we had everything we needed to have a great stay. The next time we vacation in Narragansett we'll be sure to book another week at this property!

My husband and I ( both graduates of nearby University of Rhode Island ) have enjoyed living in beautiful Narragansett for over 35 years. We love being so close to the charming & historic village of Wickford. We enjoy the many options for accessing the waterfront and all the great places to dine or picnic. It's so nice to have the hustle and bustle of Newport just a short drive over the Jamestown Verrazano & the Newport Bridges. We both enjoy hiking, skating on the nearby bike path ( which goes over the scenic & historic great swamp and is a wonderful spot to view wildlife) & boating & kayaking on gorgeous Narragansett Bay! We especially enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Narrow River within walking distance.
