Crisp, Clean, and Comfortable! If you are looking to escape to the beauty of nature, the picturesque atmosphere of Ridgetop Landing is just for you! This beautiful craftsman-style home is located in Lake Lure Village Resort, a private, gated community that began as a children’s summer camp. This getaway is nestled between beautiful Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Mountain, with over 1,000 acres of undeveloped land. It is perfect for all activity levels, from easy walking to rock rappelling. This home is 3 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 3.4 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 21.5 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Plan to spend your nights watching deer, wild turkeys, owls, and flying squirrels, but please do not feed the bears! A waterfall and several creeks are located within the community, and there is also a hiking trail. Lake Life Living also offers Lake Lure access just a short drive from the home.

In the home, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on 2 levels, an open kitchen, and living area with lots of windows, a beautiful large stone fireplace, private office room with a glass door for those who need to work while away from home, spacious side deck with beautiful mountain views allowing you and your family plenty of privacy and an abundance of space with maximum comfort.

Perfect weekend away

Wonderful home with incredible sunrise views

We had a beautiful stay at Ridgetop. The house was clean, well stocked and the views (especially sunrise) were unmatched! It was a perfect home base for exploring everything Lake Lure and the surrounding area has to offer. It's a sweet house in a great little neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly and we highly recommend staying here. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Everything and MORE

From the moment we walked in and then exploring each room this home was even better than we could have expected. The home was welcoming and all the little things were covered from linens to extra blankets, toys, games, movies, seating (inside and out) and the best stocked kitchen we have seen (spice rack even!). Each room was spacious and we never felt cramped with a big family of teens and adults. The morning sunrises were icing on the cake. Absolutely wonderful vacation home!!

Wonderful Summer Getaway

This was our second time staying at this particular house. We loved it that much the first time when we went up to Lake Lore in the fall. Our absolute favorite part of this property is how family friendly it is. There is space for everyone, and the downstairs is the perfect place for kids to hang out. To top it off, the sunrise over the mountains is amazing, and the upstairs space is nice and open for family hang out time. We love having access to the lake at the Lake Lure Village resort as well. And we really enjoy taking the trail at the top of the hill (keep going up past the house and it’s at the very top on the left and goes steeply downhill) to hike to the waterfall down near the lake. If you’re not familiar with the area, definitely use satellite or a map to find your way through Lake lure village resort down to the lake if you are hiking it. Another wonderful stay at this beautiful home!

Great place to stay in Lake Lure

This place has everything: a stunning view, plenty of space, a Wii/Xbox, lovely porch, and basketball downstairs. It's close to Chimney Rock, a quaint little downtown area near the river, and only 45 minutes from Asheville. The house was clean and modern, and the kitchen had everything you would need. I'd highly recommend a stay here if you're planning to travel to Lake Lure.

Wonderful weekend getaway in the mountains of Lake Lure!

We had such an amazing stay at Ridgetop Landing. I would highly recommend it. The house is very new, and had all of the amenities we were looking for. The location was great, within a short seven or eight minute drive to the little village of chimney rock and Lake Lure Village. And the views were such a great treat. The sunrise over the mountains was beautiful each morning. The gated neighborhood is beautiful and very well maintained, quiet, quaint. We also loved taking advantage of the Lake lure Village resort, which was only a three or four minute drive and another gate to go through (but access to it comes with the house). There, we found lots of hiking, exploring the beautiful waterfall, walking down to the lake, access to the fishing dock, small beach area, etc. we have four small children and this was definitely the highlight of their trip. They love exploring! The house itself was wonderful. The kitchen was very well stocked, there was plenty of seating for all of us, and it was overall just very comfortable. The downstairs was absolutely perfect for all of our kids. The basketball game was a hit, and there were even children’s toys and books to keep them occupied when needed. The beds were very comfortable and lots of linens and towels provided. The downstairs was a very quiet because of the plush carpeting, which was so nice during the kids sleeping hours. I would highly recommend this property to other families, I actually already have! we hope to come again next year.

Rainy days at Lake Lure

This is a very clean (and new) cabin-type house with a nice peekaboo view of Lake Lure, as well as a good view (if it weren't cloudy) of the surrounding mountains. Well-appointed in general and well-stocked for children (plastic dishes in kitchen, indoor basketball game downstairs, Wii, etc.). There are inviting outdoor spaces, as well--but not so much for us, since it rained most of the time we were there. Keyless entry meant we didn't have to keep up with keys. The only challenge we faced was trying to get into the (WRONG) gate when coming back from dinner in the dark one night. (It's the SECOND gated entrance on the left as you come up the mountain.) The on-call staff member was very gracious in trying to help us, even sending a neighbor to look for us--even though we were at the wrong gate. Highly recommend this house for a getaway! Note: Take your own paper towels/napkins and coffee. None are provided.
