Our re-finished Beach Cottage is just around the corner, and waiting for you to come rest and relax on the water. The homemade-modern furnishings are new and clean, with plenty of spaces to enjoy (my favorite is the fire pit patio!). Located less than a mile from Hoodsport, there are restaurants and grocery/gas nearby. However, if you're looking for solitude, you can find that here too. Just walk down to the water and enjoy the lapping waves, the crackling fire, or some delicious/fresh oysters.

Love the location of this property. Direct access to the water and not far from Olympic national park. Had a relaxing time w my little ones and parents. Really like the upstairs space.

Great escape on the Hood Canal

Nice place, very clean on the beach of the Hood Canal. This is a great place to get away and enjoy the beautiful scenery with access to fresh seafood. Only a mile away from Downtown Hoodsport for some shopping and restaurants. It was slightly expensive for the size, but very clean and updated. Great craftsmanship throughout the property especially the fire pit area. I would definitely come back, but probably more often if slightly easier on the pocket book.

I stayed here for 3 nights with a friend. The location right on the canal was perfect. There was a sea lion (seal?) or two on the raft for a long time which was good company for a coffee by the water's edge in the morning. The cabin has recently been redone and it is new and clean. Even has usb ports on both sides of the 2 double beds! The owner was great to work with, which made the stay in the cabin that much more welcoming. Very comfortable beds and couches. :)

Great 4th of July

We had a great time! The house and yard were perfect for a family getaway. We used the firepit every night to cook meals and toast s'mores. The fireworks shows up and down the canal were entertaining both nights. Also, location is great - super close to Hoodsport and a short drive from Hama Hama Oyster Saloon.

Rustic Charm on the Hood Canal!

Jesse was a great host to work with, he responded promptly to all my questions. The home was clean and charming. The space is great for up to two families - adults in the two bedrooms and kids up in the loft. We loved swimming in Lake Cushman, hiking in the Olympics and boating on Hood Canal during the day and then returning to cook on the open fire next to the water in the evenings. Collecting oysters off the beach and cooking them up on the fire was a highlight! So much fun! We look forward to returning.

terrific family spot

we had a lovely summer week taking advantage of the nice outdoor space watching the seals swim by, cooking over the fire pit and on the grill, and sticking our toes in the water. a compact and very nice setup for a couple + small toddler - waterfront but a "buffer zone" between the deck and tide, an upstairs area perfect for kids, and nicely renovated/furnished downstairs. easy access to hiking and lake cushman too. we'd love to return.

Fun little house!

We had a great 4th of July at the house. It was fun to watch the fireworks being set off on both sides of the water and to be able just walk out to the back of the house to gather oysters. The kids really liked the upstairs sleeping area for them to all stay together and have their own space. It was a convenient location to a few restaurants as well as to a nice little market. The only unfortunate things for us was that crabbing was closed south of Ayok point but that is at no fault of the home owner, just bad luck.

Great little house

We had a great stay at this house. Very clean, and the owner is super-responsive and welcoming. Views are lovely, the next-door neighbor is friendly, and it's close to Hoodsport and Olympic. Kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, and there's plenty of seating both indoors and out.

Extremely cute cabin on the water! We stayed for a weekend easy beach access to place our kayaks into the water right in front. Beautiful sunrise to enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Our son loved the loft space.Thank you Jesse for a great place to stay
