•Master bedroom with an Expanded Queen size P5 Sleep Number bed, and cordless remote that controls firmness on either side of mattress. So if you and your partner request a different firmness, we have that covered!
-Private Access to the backyard from the master suite to a mini-deck.
-Master bath with bidet attachment, an extended shower and heated tile floor.

•Guest bedroom includes a Queen size P5 Sleep Number bed, with cordless remote that controls firmness on either side of mattress. This can be adjusted to fit the individual guest's needs.

Room includes a tv, with Roku streaming capabilities - Netflix, Prime, YouTube Live Tv. & misc games/ books in the cabinet for use during your stay.

•Guest bedroom with a twin daybed, includes an additional rollout twin trundle bed below. This daybed also opens up to extend to a king-size mattress/ two raised twin mattresses, if necessary.
•Hall bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and the laundry area with a washer & dryer.
•Children’s pack and play available for use, if needed.
•Gas fireplace, central heating with built-in humidifier on cold days; house fan through central system & ceiling fans for hot days.
•Outside gas fire-pit, bistro set, and BBQ (gas) (summer/fall use). (Fire permit required due to SLT ordinance and fire regulations.)

We love to share our personal home with those that want to respect the neighbors, nature, and enjoy the beauty around! (This is not a "party" house, and families of young children do live nearby.)

Parking accommodations: 2 small to midsize vehicles can fit in driveway. There is no parking on the street or in the garage.

The maximum number of people allowed overnight in the home is 6, unless approved otherwise. (Not including infants of 6 mos or younger.) Fee or eviction will be assessed for persons added without prior approval.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please pile all used bedding and blankets on the beds. The cleaners will remove and wash. Do not strip beds.
Place towels on the floor in front of washer in hall bath. If damp in the laundry basket or hall shower. If possible start load of towels, hot water. Do not overstuff of over soap, please.
Please remove all trash/open food. Close all windows/doors. Set thermostat at 58 degrees. Start the dishwasher before exiting. No dishes left in sink or on counter tops, please. Wipe counter tops.TX!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest agrees to comply with local ordinance and to complete El Dorado contract. $350 security deposit is collected prior to stay.
Please note, this property has an external security camera/system in the front of the home (public area) for purposes of when the house is unoccupied.

Preparing for outage

Electricity was for about 4 hours. The cabin should be stocked with more batteries, flameless candles and flashlights. We had to take batteries from the remote control because the thermostat battery was low and the only battery in the house was the wrong size

We had a great time at the PV cabin. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely return and tell friends. The home is very clean, and has all the amenities of home.

Clean and nice cabin with all the amenities we need. My family kept praising about how clean the cabin is. Owner Shiree was very nice and responded to the messages fast. In some vacation home, the house is large but the master bedroom is small. I personally love the size of the master bathroom here. It was a great stay and we will be back if shiree’s cabin is still available next winter.

A really nice house

This is a beautiful, very well equipped house. Everything is new, stylish, and well functioning. We were a group of six friends who came to attend a wedding, the house was a comfortable base for dressing up and going to events. Only a couple things to keep in mind: - The house does not have air conditioning, so can be hot in the summer. Leaving the windows open and fans on is necessary to stay cool. - There are limited parking spaces. The rental contract we signed suggested we were only allowed to have two cars, which was difficult for our group. (I think both the lack of A/C and parking scarcity are common in Tahoe, so this isn't specificaly a compaint about this property.) The owners are very friendly and accomodated us very well, They can take a couple days to reply to messages, but they are also available by telephone if anything urgent comes up. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this property. I hope I will be back soon!

Cute Cabin

My family and I had a great time at this cabin! Clean, good location, and nice amenities. We especially appreciated the pack n play and stroller for our little guy. It’s about a 15 min drive to downtown South Lake Tahoe and is surrounded by nearby beautiful trails for running/hiking. We had a wonderful time and appreciated staying at this comfortable cabin.

Perfect Getaway

Our stay at the PVCabin was an amazing experience! The large snow filled yards (front and back) were perfect for the kiddos (4 and 6) to play on their saucers, build snowmen, collect icicles, and even make an angel or two. The house was immaculate and we loved the modern amenities. It felt like a home away from home! It was the perfect size for our family of four, and we loved the convenience of its single story layout. Communication with the owners/property manager was exceptional as well! We highly recommend the PVCabin for a family retreat, and we will certainly be back!

Clean and Cozy!!

We had a great time at Our PV Cabin. Although there were alot of houses in the neighborhood, it was very quiet and we didn't run into anyone on our street. Hosts only communicated when needed and otherwise let us enjoy our stay. The cabin is very cozy but still features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area and living room. We felt it was the perfect size for our family. The house has a no shoes indoors policy which we very much appreciated and it was very clean. There are 2 TVs in the house with roku and other streaming services. It also had various gaming systems (PS2, Super NES, Nintendo Wii) which our kids enjoyed when not playing outside. The kitchen has all the cookware and silverware you will need and the pantry was stocked with coffee and spices. The backyard is a good size...not too big and not too small. We had access to the garage which contained multiple sleds that we were able to haul around with us and stop along the road and sled down some hills as we were driving around the area. This is a very accommodating place and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Very pleased with our stayed at Shirene’s and Joseph’s PVCabin, super clean, very comfortable and cozy! One important factor for us is being able to get a rested and good night sleep and let me say, we all slept like babies! We will definitely would like to comeback to South Lake Tahoe and stay at the PVCabin!

Awesome snowboard trip location!

We had another great short trip to OuPVCabin! Rode kirkwood the first day, checked in and stayed the night in this cozy neighborhood cabin, and then hit up Heavenly the next (only 10 minutes to Cal Lodge!) will definitely be back, love this place!

Great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!

We had a great stay at OurPVcabin! The cabin is outfitted for everything you need for a great trip and is comfortable for grownups and families with kids. They added some extra touches that went along way, like soft blankets, toys and books for kids, video games, and streaming tv and movie options. The cabin has a full kitchen if you plan to cook or is close enough to many options in SLT for food or drinks. We were able to snowboard at Kirkwood (45 minutes away) one day and then hit Heavenly the next (10 minutes to Cal lodge.) Would definitely recommend this cozy cabin in the woods!

Cozy Cabin

Very lovely and serene location not too far from South Lake Tahoe. Fit up to 6 people well. We definitely enjoy playing their Guitar Hero on the PS2. Worth checking out!

Nice, clean, close to everything

Overall, we had a nice stay. There are only a few small things that could be improved. - the couch is very low and was hard on some of us with back problems - I’m not used to scented laundry detergent anymore and the smell of it was overwhelming for a few days. The towels and sheets were all potent. - too much light. The back porch light that was supposed to be on a timer but it never turned off at night and the master had a glass door that leads to the back yard. I had trouble sleeping the entire time because there was too much light coming in. - it’s a luxury to have it but heat on demand on the faucets would save a lot of water. Nice things: - The towels were good quality and soft - the kitchen looked like it had everything you’d need to cook although I didn’t cook this trip. - nice new appliances - nice carpet - heated floor in the master bath - nice showers - home was clean - gas fireplace - sleep number beds I’d rent this property again but I would need to bring an eye mask to sleep in that master

The cabin is very cozy and comfortable to spend your nights with loved ones or a group of friends. It has a modern touch yet still gives you that cabin feeling. The cabin also provided us with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, we were very satisfied with the property and will definitely return to this beautiful cabin in the future. Plus, Shiree and Joseph are amazing and very responsive to answer any questions you have!

It has been a dream to own our own place in Tahoe. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! :) We are a Bay Area couple that have many fond memories in Tahoe. We are getting a second childhood, as we build those memories with our young son.

We are avid hikers, snowboarders, and love the outdoors! We believe nature should be enjoyed and celebrated! We use this cabin as a place to reconnect and get away from the hustle and bustle of the Bay. We hope you can too!
