While the location of the house is perfect for quick access to skiing, the home itself is tired and not well maintained. Upon arrival, the front walk was not shoveled, the kitchen floors were dirty and sticky, the counters and stove were dirty, and many of the dishes in the cupboards had to be cleaned before using them. The hall bathroom sink was so badly clogged that water would not drain and there were piles of hair on the floor in the second bedroom. The entire home is in need of an upgrade but it was fine and we made it work. I probably wouldn’t rent here again unless it was improved.

Great location for Skiing

We enjoyed our stay, heading to WISP to ski, snowboard and snow tube. The house was nice, clean and comfortable. We had fun playing pool. Do bring your own soap, trash bags, etc., as noted in the instructions. Grocery shopping very nearby.

Convenient Deep Creek Condo

Perfect property for a small family to spread out as well as nice common areas.I was pleasantly surprised that the house was stocked with bath towels, dish soap, towels etc and had AC in contrast to prior reviews.Just had a small snafu at check in where the door entry code provided did not work. Once I was able to reach a contact at the property office it was promptly reset. I highly recommend this condo!

Wonderful!

We visit Deep Creek Lake at least once a year and always have a wonderful time - and this property just added to the great memories we've made. It was very clean and comfortable - the beds were great! The layout was perfect for us - giving us the space we needed to be together but also be able to spend quiet time on our own. The kitchen was well-stocked and had a Keurig - a big bonus for us! Thanks for sharing this home with us!

Layout nightmare

The rental itself had everything you needed , but the layout is poor. Lots of steps ... no bathroom on main floor. Either have to go up or down , not good for kids or older adults. Probably not as clean as it should be for the money you pay.

Beautiful Place

The property is very nice, clean and has everything you need except Air Conditioning. The listing is spot on except for 2 places note dock space and one denotes no dock space. I had to call and ask. I was advised that you have to book that in advance. With all of that the trip was great and the area is beautiful. However, the biggest issue is the people who LIVE in the adjacent townhouse. These folks feel is it ok to verbally accost 16 year old kids for 2 different reasons. Would not address the parents. I suggest if you rent this place you are prepared for them.

Reviewer Comments: The location of the rental property was excellent and my dealings with the Taylor Made went smoothly and I found their staff to be professional. However, the towels we were provided had hair embedded in them so I'm not sure how well they were cleaned. The throw rug in the living room was coated with dog hair, so again its' doubtful whether the rug was vacuumed prior to our stay. This was my second your of staying in one of the units in Deep Creek Village and I definitely would return, but I was not impressed with the level of cleanliness this year.
