Villa with Private Pool and Sea View, Family Friendly, Shaded Detached Pavillion

Casa George is a large 4 bedroom family villa with a private secluded pool area and outdoor space. The pool area has recently been refurbished.

It is surrounded by mature gardens with orange, lemon, almond and fig trees. The house benefits from sea views across open countryside towards Albufeira, Pine Cliffs particularly from the panoramic first floor terrace. Family friendly with 2 cots, 2 high chairs and safety gates.

The pool terrace is perfect for relaxing days soaking up the Portuguese sunshine and the built in barbeque area provides a great opportunity for relaxed alfresco dining. The villa offers plenty of space for a family.

The rear garden and pavilion area provides a relaxing shaded area with furniture and great views over open countryside towards the sea . The pavilion is an ideal location for Yoga and Pilates or just relaxing.

The villa has excellent direct access from a country road (no rocky dirt tracks).

There are local supermarkets are at Boliquieme, Quartiera, Vilamoura and Albufeira. Loule which is a traditional Portuguese town with a daily market is a 15 minute drive away.

There are many restaurants, bars and shops within a 10 minute drive in Vilamoura, Albufeira or the quieter village of Boliquieme. Other attractions include water parks, golf (15+ courses), tennis, water sports, karting, theme parks (Zoomarine) and cinemas.

Staying out of season - There is a log burning fire in the lounge. The air conditioning in the bedrooms provide heating in winter. Please ask if you have further questions about staying over the winter.

This is not a multi occupancy property. Any reservation is for the exclusive use of the house, grounds and the pool area.

I stayed at Casa George for 2 weeks in August and what can I say but wow the villa is beautiful,big pool and garden for kids to run around and a lovely seating area at the bottom of the garden. The hosts were fantastic to deal with and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks staying at Casa George. Stephen and Amanda were so helpful before and during our stay - nothing was too much trouble.The villa has a lovely pool area with BBQ and seating nearby. The pavilion at the end of the garden was a great place to sit in the evening with a drink.The location itself was so easy to get to lots of places but would recommend a car. It's in a quiet area so great if you want to relax.We would really recommend staying here.

The property was clean and well stocked in the kitchen as far as equipment. The property itself was a little dated and showed signs of that. The beds were not comfortable. They could do with upgrading maybe. Each room had a/c which worked great. The amount of dogs barking at the early morning hours was annoying but we got used to it after a few days. The outside area was great, plenty of room and lots of sun/shade options.

Lovely time

We had a great time at this property for 2 weeks. When we arrived we had a lovely surprise 2 bottles of wine and some beer which was much appreciated because of our difficult journey. We really enjoyed the villa plenty of room for our party of 10.

The villa is very well laid out with large rooms. We enjoyed having our own pool and used it every day. The location was good because we didn't want to be in a resort and having a car made it handy to visit the attractive and less crowded parts of the Algarve.

Casa George Loul'e

Our party of eight family had a very enjoyable stay at Casa George for 12 days. The property is situated in a very good location, convenient to coastal area and very private grounds. The house is well equipped and comfortable and the new air conditioning is a good addition. We made good use of the nice swimming pool and the BBQ. Our hosts were very helpful and gave us good information and directions. We would like to stay again sometime.

We loved our stay. 5 minutes from coast. Great pool! The sun was powerful, and there was no shade at the pool. Please add umbrellas! Otherwise great!

A home away from home suited to large families or groups

If you want a modern rectangular box with glass walls, Casa George isn’t for you. It is a large family home that feels just like that, a home.There’s lots of room, with 4 large bedrooms and large lounge/diner and has books, games and DVD to keep all amused indoors.Whilst the weather wasn’t brilliant when we stayed, the outside areas are extensive and well appointed. Watching the sun go down from the 1st floor terrace is a lovely wind down. The pool and barbecue area are suntraps and the new pagoda and furniture at the far end of the garden offer a quieter comfortable sitting area.We were very lucky in timing to be able to put lemons from the tree in our “occasional” drinks and also have freshly squeezed orange juice, from the trees in the garden, with breakfast.Casa George will make for an excellent base, away from the crowds for large groups and families, although I would recommend a car if you want explore or go the numerous beaches etc. in the area.

Brilliant property and great communication with owner

Great property that suited our needs perfectly. We could not fault any part of the property and would happily stay here again. The location of the property within a few minutes drive to the shops and close to villamoura was perfect for us as a family with small children. When emailing the owner to request cots being in certain rooms and queries the response speed was amazing even when they were on holiday themselves. A relaxing week

We have just returned from Casa George where we had a very relaxing week. It is only 25 minutes from the airport in a nice quiet area, not off the beaten track but not a main road either. The rear of the property is not overlooked and is very spacious with plenty of seating etc for a large group. There is a local Aldi and Lidl which are next door to each other only a 5 minute Uber drive away. The average cost for the Uber to these locations was about 4 euros.(takesome shopping bags). The recent addition of the air conditioning is very much welcomed. The kitchen is well appointed qith plenty of utensils and crockery. The communication with Stephen and Amanda was easy and straight forward with clear instructions on how to navigate thee property. If you are a family looking for a relaxing week we would highly recommend Casa George

Casa George

Villa lovely and spacious. 10 people from infant to 70 age. Outside area and pool very good. Coildnt see where the sea was though. All you need for large group to stay. Unfortunately the 2 closest restaurants were closed for the duration. Not really suitable to walk the 2km to the village where the supermarkets were sited. Lovely beaches nearby and lots of info on places to go and other places to eat. Cannot fault the owners, rapid on replies and extremely helpful. Only real downside was at night when the local dogs, or is there a compound, kept us awake for a while with barking. Settled on late g and t to help us along :) Nothing to do with the owners of Casa George! Thank you Stephen and Amanda for letting us stay.

Golfing break

My 3 friends and I had a brilliant stay at the villa. Whilst Boliqueime is a small town there is easily accessible shops for supplies. Uber is ready and available or you can drive which I'd recommend. This Villa is the perfect base for a getaway. The location is somewhat secluded and we were so happy with this. The Villa itself is brilliant. The rooms are clean and spacious and a well equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The highlight of the property was the BBQ which saw use everyday numerous times. The pool is refreshing and constantly clean with a handy shower outside too. The outdoor space is amazing with the AstroTurf allowing for inventive putting challenges for us golf lovers. The patio at the bottom of the garden was the perfect place to relax unwind and enjoy a cold beer. The hosts have thought of everything and instantly felt at home and prepared for our stay. I honestly couldn't be happier with this villa and proved to be the perfect base to explore some of the many golf resorts in the near vicinity. I would 100% recommend this for a group looking to stay, be it family or friends. It caters for everything. Such a lovely place and worth it's weight in gold. Thank you for. Brilliant stay

A lovely break away

We stayed here for 10 days in May and had an amazing time. We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 2 years old to 57 years old. The property is a little bit out in the sticks but this is explained when booking, but Uber was simple enough to book to visit other areas. Amanda and Stephen were brilliant even prior to us arriving - we had issues with our booking with Vrbo and the communication with them was superb! Even when we were at the villa, we queried about mosquito plug ins and they were dropped off immediately. We have always visited Portugal either in May or September, being cooler than the summer months but this time the weather was hotter than usual which was lovely, but a bit of an issue when it came to the villa not having any air con. We all got bit by mosquitos a fair bit which we have never experienced with Portugal before, unsure whether it was because there was no air con or just because we were surrounded by trees and plants. One of the downstairs bathrooms seemed to have issues with flies and ants - we arrived and there were dead bugs around the bathroom. Bug spray was supplied at the villa and we bought more to try and get rid, but they kept coming back. The listing is exactly how the villa was - stunning! The orange and lemon trees at the front of the villa were lovely and we even picked the fruit as a garnish for our gin! The pool is a great size and we made lovely memories teaching our 2 year old to swim. The outside grass and decking area is also beautiful, with lights you are able to turn on of an evening. Overall a lovely stay, so a big thank you to Amanda and Stephen!

Ideally situated

Just had a brilliant week at Casa George ! It was easy to get there from the airport. Very peaceful and quiet in a lovely rural setting and less than 10 mins to two major supermarkets. The villa had everything you need. V good kitchen, large lounge, huge sunbathing area and excellent gardens. First class pool too. It’s a 10 from me !

Birthday celebration

7 of us stayed at the villa, there was plenty of space for everyone. The poolside area is large with sun loungers, a place to eat and various places to sit and relax. The air conditioning made sleeping comfortable.

My family have owned Casa George for over 40 years and have enjoyed the peaceful location in the hills just above Vilamoura with our friends and their children of all ages.

Why they chose this property

The property offers a peaceful location in the hills above Vilamoura with plenty of space for family and friends, the private pool and grounds are not overlooked and allow various areas for outdoor dining and sunbathing. The beauty of its location allows you to jump in the car or call a taxi and be in Vilamoura in 5/10 mins, or Albufeira in 10/15 mins. There are 2 supermarkets that are a 5 minute drive from the house.
Loule a traditional Portuguese town has museums and daily market are worth a visit. For all keen golfers there are plenty of splendid first class courses in the area. The beaches in the Algarve are vast and are undoubtedly the most beautiful in Europe.

The villa is situated in a peaceful area with lovely views looking down the valley towards the sea. The villa is not overlooked at the rear and the grounds are spacious.
