I wish we could give them TEN stars! It was a great experience staying at this charming home just a few blocks from downtown. The house was perfect - plenty of space! We also enjoyed the patio and private yard. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We would rent again for sure - highly recommend!!

Perfect vacation home

This home was beautiful. We loved all the wood and the original parts of the home. It was perfect for our group of 9. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Our family loved Lake Geneva and want to return.

This was the perfect setting for our reunion. The home is elegant and spacious, plenty of room to relax, chat, and laugh. The location is perfect - a quiet, safe neighborhood that was just blocks from everything we wanted to do while in Lake Geneva, from shopping to boating to eating great food! Not only were the hosts attentive to detail within the home - comfortable beds, beautiful decor, attention to all the little things - but they were welcoming and immediately available if we had questions. We could not have asked for a better situation for our trip!

Historic house

Adorable historic property within walking distance to all Lake Geneva has to offer. Everything was great! Beds were comfy. My only suggestion would be some simple supplies for beach in addition to the towels, like a small cooler and some beach/camp chairs.

The house and the location were perfect for our stay in Lake Geneva. It was so convenient to walk downtown and the quiet neighborhood was much appreciated. The house was equipped with all the dishes, towels, linens, detergents and paper products we needed for our stay. We loved the charm of the old home and were pleasantly surprised by how well the window AC units kept the whole house cool.

We had 5 adult women and stayed in the home for 4 nights. Everyone had their own bedroom and three bathrooms. The historic home was beautiful. The front porch and rocking chairs were a great spot for morning coffee. The house was well stocked for vacation needs. We loved being able to park our 4 cars off street and keep them there. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance, beach, boat tours, restaurants, brewery, and shopping! Highly recommend!

Beautiful historic home that exceeded our expectations. Even better than pictured on the website. Wonderful hosts, who communicated all the details and made sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. We loved hanging on the front porch and the backyard was a plus. Beautiful old house that is VERY well taken care of and in a great location!

Did a girls weekend at this house, there were 5 of us, so each had her own bedroom, which was great! Owners obviously take great pride in this house, it was so clean and had absolutely everything we needed and then some! Multiple spots to hang out, including a great front porch and a back patio. Loved the location, just a short walk to downtown and the lake. If your looking for a place for vacation, you can’t go wrong with this!

My family and I loved this place. Walking distance to downtown, the lake, and the public beach/park. Plenty of amenities, full kitchen, comfortable living room, Nice dining room area and the beds were very comfortable. They had a nice grill out back with chairs to relax in Wisconsins awesome summer weather. We’re hoping to stay here again next year. Lots of places within walking distance.

Amazing Property

This was an amazing experience to stay on this property. It had every possible amenitiy, it was beautifully decorated, and the location was absolutely perfect. Also...coming from Phoenix where everything is new, we all found it so amazing to be in a true historic piece of property. Just a short pleasant stroll to shops and beach but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Love love love.

Lovely comfortable home with a great location

Our multi-generation family had a lovely stay at this charming historical home which has been updated with all the modern amenities. Very clean and exceptionally well appointed, it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a pleasant 5-10 minute walk from downtown and the lake. There is something for everyone. Boating on the lake of course, with several easy options for boat rentals. The kids loved the beach and the nearby playground, as well as mini-golf (6 minute drive.) The adults enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful experience

We rented this property with 3 other families and to say this property was amazing didn't quite sum it up. The house is stunning and in 5 star shape. Plenty of room up to 10 people and it was immaculate. You can tell the owners are extremely proud of this house (as they should be) and they have the cares of the renter placed first. There were abundant supplies of all the necessities and you feel they thought of everything for you. Communication with the owners was first rate and they made sure if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. It's only a few short blocks from downtown Lake Geneva so the location is perfect walking distance as we all know what a challenge parking is. If I could give this property 6 stars I would. Highest recommendation for a much needed getaway.

Don’t wait!

Okay you’ve read the reviews. Don’t wait, don’t hesitate, book this house. We stayed here over Thanksgiving with our family of nine (including 3 babies under the age of two) and Jeff and Karen went out of their way to make sure that web had everything we might need. You’ve heard about the apple pie, the beer, the breakfast casserole...but they even went out and got a baby gate for us! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need to create simple to gourmet meals. You can even eat your meal on a choice of fine China! Although there are a lot of gift shops in Lake Geneva you can just get your ideas for decorating and those simple extra touches by noting what Karen and Jeff have done in this house. I have never stayed in a place that was so creatively and thoughtfully put together as this property.
