Great location and cosy cottage

My Bonnie Doon was a cosy, comfortable beach cottage for a small family. Great pool, close to Geoffrey and Alma bay's and the Acardia store. Resident Kookaburra - we called him Bob.

Cosy Beach Shack!

We booked OurBonnieDoon for our Easter long weekend traditional family holiday and it was lovely, it was neat, cosy and all we needed for a weekend at the beach. Besides being a fair walk from the Alma Bay beach it was only walking distance to shops, cafes and Geoffrey Bay beach. We would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Loved our little hideaway

Great little cottage close to beach and shops and bus stop. Its in a very peaceful area. The cottage itself was clean and tidy and big enough for a couple with all that we needed. The real bonus for us was the pool which was private enough for skinny dipping (no wet uncomfortable bathers). The aircons were much appreciated (if a little noisy) as the weather was very warm. Our only complaint (but a big one for us) was that the mattress in the main bedroom has passed its use by date and sags making for very uncomfortable sleep for the first 2 nights. We moved into the other bedroom and that foam mattress was ok. If the mattress is replaced we would be more than happy to stay here again.

OurBonnieDoon is a perfect palce to unwind with all facilities , with movies to watch,relaxing private pool, aircon to beat the heat and beach within a few meters to relax.

Really nice, the pool is great and private with a light for a refreshing evening swim, lots of books and games, aircon to escape the heat and lots of nice shady sitting outside and 3 min walk to pub and beach.

Wonderful wee holiday house

We had a great two weeks in this patch of paradise. House is surrounded by lush tropical garden and centrally located on Island - walking distance to good snorkelling at Geoffrey Bay and a good swimming beach at Alma Bay. House is a little smaller than photos appear but perfect for our needs. Pool is bliss. We'd love to return.

It feels home as soon as you walk thru the front door. It's the quintessential beach house! The outdoor pool area is private and tropical and the property is a short walk to tavern and corner shop.
