Designed for relaxed tropical living, Essence indulges you with the very best of everything; including your own private pool, king bed, en-suite, indoor and outdoor living areas, BBQ and outdoor dining area, outdoor hot/cold shower, air-conditioning, large TV, bifold doors and shutters and self contained kitchen and laundry facilities.

Perfect getaway in paradise

Beautiful accommodation in the perfect location. Furnishings have been updated and are far more pleasing than what is featured in photos on the website. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

The architecture of the house is superb and the location is great. However the interiors are not as advertised. The unit showed great in the pictures with modern furniture and open layout ; but turned out to be a standard studio set up-sofa in front of the bed in front of the tv. (balineese furniture) Disappointing. Outdoors needs maintenance, and listing needs new pictures,

Ideal

We stayed 1 week at Essence and enjoyed every moment. The privacy and peace was exactly what we needed and we were please to fine this property luxuriously appointed. A private pool was ideal and we used it extensively. The only thing that would have made it a better experience is a coffee machine. Cafes and restaurants are a short walk away with enough choice that if you wanted to stay in Horseshoe Bay you could. We booked a rental car just before arriving and were very pleased we did. It made exploring the island so much easier. When we return to Magnetic Island there isnt anywhere else we will stay. The staff at Best of Magnetic were great.

Great Romantic Getaway

Essence Beachfront Retreat was perfect for our four night relaxing getaway. There were great restaurants/cafes within walking distance and the area was quiet. The internal couches could have done with a clean and it would have been nice to have some additional linen and an inside dining option (only table/chairs was outside with mosquitos) but, overall, it was a nice stay

My husband & I stayed at Essence. We were amazed at the quality and the foresight that has gone into this hidden gem. We felt we could stay here forever. A short morning stroll to the local cafes, for brunch, bushwalking (saw koalas in the wild)and swimming at the lovely beaches. We will be returning for more tranquillity.

Perfect Place!!

My boyfriend and I went and stayed at Essence and we are so happy we did. It was the perfect location and perfect property. My only suggestion would be to turn the pool temperature up. Other than that the facilities and spot was wonderful. Will definately be back !

we were very dissapointed with the quality of fittings. for example the bin in the kitchen was a bucket, an actual bucket. There were only 2 bin liners, we were booked in for 4 nights. At 5 star prices per night I would expect a bin liner per day. There was no dish cloth to wipe the bench or wash dishes with or pick up spills. There was nothing to clean the bbq with ie dishclosth/ steelo. There was no bin in the bathroom at all, (could have been tucked in the cupboard). The fridge is very small and the freezer does not freeze, (there is a note to tell you this!). We had spent the previous 4 nights at mission beach which was awesome for the same price per night and everything was perfect. Again these may be small things, but at this price per night I don't want to go and purchase anything for a 4 night stay. The pool was sandy and had not been cleaned well (we own a pool). Apparently pool day is Friday, and we checked in on Sun. ? Very pretty location.

I would highly recommend this property. My husband and I had our honeymoon here and we couldn't ask for anything more! It was private, luxurious and we had the beach at our front door. The service from the girls at Best of Magnetic made our stay welcoming and smooth. This is must! The appliances were high quality, the bed comfortable and clean linen. Not only would I recommend the 'Essence' but my husband and I will be definitely returning!
