We booked this location to have a short vacation with coming down to attend a graduation in Tampa. The location was good, close to the beach and restaurants. The condo wasn’t as clean as I thought it should be, there was some things found which indicated it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The Madeira Beach area is beautiful!

The overall experience was great ! From my initial contact with Ryan all the way to checkout we couldn't have asked for a better stay!! Ryan went over and above with all my questions and really made our stay enjoyable ! We will definitely be back and have found our new place to stay whenever we visit Madeira Beach !

It was a great experience . Location is ideal . The proximity to John's Pass & the beach made it a daily trip to both . We thoroughly enjoyed the pool & hot tub also .The views overlooking the bay & the morning sunrises were gorgeous ! And it was an easy drive to either Publix or Walmart . Would definitely stay there again .

Stay was great. Wish we would have had warmer weather but you have no control over that!!!
The cleanest condo that I've ever rented in Madeira Beach. Great location, beach access is across the street and the crosswalk is directly in front of the resort. Condo is undated and well equipped. Ceramic tile thru out the condo. A new baking sheet, chip clips and a large bowl would be welcome additions to an otherwise well equipped kitchen.
We have stayed in this resort many times. Since additional resort has been added, there is not enough pool space (chairs and pool area) for amount of people using it.
Water pressure in shower is poor.

This property was more impressive in person than it was in person. Not only could my husband and I bring the dogs, but our teen daughter was happy in her living room suite. Right across from the beach and very close to shopping and dining.

Not what it used to be
We’ve stayed at Madeira bay resort every February/March since 2013. We have seen it get more worn, less cared for, and not as clean as expected. This unit was particularly disappointing. The coffee pot is a 5 cup pot, which really means 2 mugs of coffee, so we had to make 2 pots daily. The water pressure in the shower was nothing more than a dribble, making it difficult to rinse off, especially after washing hair. The kitchen cabinet facings were peeling off and some of the drawers were broken. We also asked for some hangers since there were none in the unit, and we never got them. Sadly, after many enjoyable years at Madeira Bay Resort, we will be looking elsewhere.
I have stayed at Madeira Bay several times. It is located in the perfect spot for the beach, shopping, food and entertainment. Unit 301 is perfect for a couple, with enough room for two more if needed. We would definitely return.
My wife and I stayed in unit 301 for a long weekend and loved being able to take a short walk to the beach or John's Pass. The location is the highlight of the condo. That being said... this is by no means a resort in what I define as a "resort". The sign out front also says resort and spa. I did not see a spa during our visit. The condo was nice and clean and had a really nice view of the marina that is directly behind the building. The sunrise is beautiful. Now on to the unit specifically. The living room furniture is comfortable, but the bed is REALLY firm. I try to not be too critical since people have different preferences, but this bed is extra firm and noisy if you move around at all. We did not use the kitchen much at all, but it seemed like everything was pretty worn from use. The cabinetry was also starting to peel and could use some freshening up. There were 2 old Beach chairs in the closet that we used for our first trip to the beach that we found were pretty much worn out too. We bought a couple chairs at wal mart that we left behind in the closet. I hope someone gets some use out of them! Overall for the price that we paid for our weekend we were satisfied and we're taking many happy memories home with us.
Everything in the unit was perfect for the weekend with my husband and I to go to the Beach right across the street! Short walk to Johns Pass. Definitely will be back soon!
Clean, quiet and close to John’s Pass. Shirt walk across the street to the beach. Only downside is no bathroom by the pool so you have to go back and forth from your room to the pool
This unit was a large one bedroom condo with plenty of space in the living/kitchen areas. There were a couple of little beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet, but I would recommend bringing your own towels and chairs if you have them. It’s a short walk to the pier area which has tons of restaurants and shops and an easy walk across the street to the beach. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware - lots of frying pans large and small, a couple small pots, baking sheets, cooking utensils, coffee maker, crock pot, etc. - but I’m glad we had friends staying down the hall to borrow a large pot and bottle opener from. The balcony was nice, with a couple of tables and chairs, and I’m glad this unit was facing the harbor/docks as opposed to be on the street side of the building. Overall, great stay and I would recommend to others!
Excellent place to stay and will use same location for my next visit

0 STARS !!!
If I could give this property 0 stars I would. It is advertised as a "Resort and Spa" it is literally a spot in a parking lot. When I pulled out the sofa bed the mattress was soaking wet and there were no linens. I called the on site Management Co. and they quickly delivered some but I had to just sleep on the couch. The next day they offered me a different unit. The AC was broken and the bifold door in the MBR broke and fell on my pregnant daughter. We left the property and went to a hotel. Though we only had 1 good night out of four they offered to comp only 2. Although the staff was apologetic and sympathetic, I would NEVER recommend Madeira Beach"Resort and Spa" to anyone!!!
