It was a great place, very clean. then only thing that we didn't care for was the driveway! It needs to be worked on, regraded, if we had our car we wouldn't of made it in.

Great view, but was not clean!

My wife and I were very excited to stay at this cabin, and the views are amazing. But not long after we arrived (the check in instructions are very helpful in finding the cabin) we discovered the cabin had not been cleaned. There was a used bar of soap in the shower with hair on it, hair and toothpaste on the sink, and hair on the floors. The sheets were not clean and were in a pile in the laundry room and the beds were not made. We tried to make the best of it despite the dirtiness, and then we discovered the cabin has an issue with insects. I completely understand that this is a rustic cabin and being in the woods leads to insects, but I had a hard time justifying the price of staying at this cabin when I killed roughly 15-20 large black ants and 8-10 spiders inside the cabin. The cabin itself is nice and the views are beautiful. The wifi is fast, and depending on your carrier there may be cell service. Overall this is a very nice cabin but we were disappointed with the issues we encountered because of the cost of staying here.

Gem in the woods

We loved, loved, loved this place! We do hope to return someday. With 2 busy teenagers it is so hard to find the time to get away. This is just what we needed. A getaway from the "hurry there, hurry here!" We enjoyed the view and the quiet! We spent many hours on the back porch viewing the scenery and listening to nature! Having the hot tub to sit in was also definitely a bonus! Inside the cabin was a little dated. The beds were a little small but comfortable enough for 2 nights. The kitchen had all of the essentials we needed to cook our meals. The cabin was spotless! Make sure you cover your food, we did see a few stray ants on the counters. This deep deep in the woods though we were surprised we didn't see more bugs in the house! This cabin is very remote! It took us about 10 minutes to get to it from the main road. A SUV or truck would work best I.

Beautiful deck view

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. Secluded and peaceful not to mention a beautiful view from the deck. The jacuzzi on the deck was a plus. This place has everything you need and slept comfortably as well. We were able to find the property with good directions provided by the owner. Thank you for the experience.

Clark - Hollineaux Buffalo River Trip

The view ...WOW! Nice, clean property with all the amenities. The property is quite remote and once you turn onto Plumlee road there are no GPS coordinates so you must follow the instructions provided in your rental confirmation. Read ALL the instructions for getting there before you plug the address in to your GPS! I would not travel to the property in a car or SUV that is low to the ground. Allow 20 - 25 minutes from the main road to arrive at property. It's really a beautiful place. We had excursions planned and we were always eager to return to relax and enjoy the view.

Beautiful view tucked away in the woods

Great little cabin to relax and get away from your reality but a little over priced for what you get. Kitchen was stocked full of useful things so you can cook and we really enjoyed the sunsets. Beds were very uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on cots instead. Also,when you're paying A lot for a cleaning fee I expected pristine and it wasn't close. We still had a good time though. It just needs a woman's touch and the CDs for sale need to go.

Great stay

This was wonderful. We are out in the woods with a view that was heaven. Very secluded and my 4 year old grandson loved it. Want to rent again in the fall. Large spaces and more supplies than you need. Awesome.

Close to Hawksbill Crag and Lost Valley. Great for a small group of friends or family. Pros: open floor plan, huge kitchen, comfortable living room seating, gorgeous view, hot tub, welcoming environment (local brochures, information binder, etc), clean Cons: poor to mediocre customer service, cushioned toilet seat (ewww) I would stay here again.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view.

This was a great get away cabin. Wayniff the beaten path and if you have a small low riding car I wouldn’t recommend taking it to this place. Beautiful, secluded, and clean. The best part of the place is the beautiful view. You can’t beat it. Would definitely stay again.

Great for getting away and relaxing

If you are looking to get away, relax, and unwind this is the place. The house is back in the woods where it is incredibly quiet. The views from the family room and deck are amazing. Even though you are In the woods the house has satellite TV and very good wifi. The location is close to Boxley Valley and hiking trails. We even got to see the Elk. Even if it rains its ok because you can sit inside and admire the view. Do not miss the chance to stay in this gem in the Ozarks.

Beautiful & relaxing--a perfect week away!

We were looking for a place with a beautiful view, had comfortable furniture and was quiet--a bonus if it had a hot tub. This place delivered! Even though we had seen the pictures, we were awe-struck by the view from the living room windows as we walked in the front door! These pictures barely do it justice! We were hoping for a quiet week away, time to think and read and evaluate the things we were involved in and to rest. This home was just perfect! Every evening we sat in the hot tub, watching the sunset and the multitude of stars appear. Though we had planned other activities, we ended up just staying put, preferring to just enjoying the beauty and quiet that surrounded us. This home is very clean, the beds and furniture are comfortable, everything in good working order, plus all the things we needed to cook or grill. The wifi was fabulous. As we pulled away, my husband remarked, "I would love to come back!"
