About the host
Hosted by Daniela Lioce

I'm from Puglia, in the south of Italy and I've been living in Florence for more than 30 years. I love travelling with my family or friends, exploring new countries and lands or visiting Art museums. Most of all, I adore the ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Of course, I love Florence: the town I chose to live in and where I chose to grow my children.
Why they chose this property
I bought this apartment as an investment for my 28 y.o. daughter, Sheila. In fact, she chose the apartment and when we refurbished it, she chose everything: the tiles, the furniture, the colors. I'm very proud : she did a great job also choosing old pieces of furniture in thrift stores or in our old attic, giving them a new life and mixing them with contemporary goods and useful devices. Sheila made it a nice place to live in, very comfortable for families with kids, elders, group of friends. It's very versatile.
What makes this property unique
When we saw the apartment (after having seen at least other 30 places), we decided strait away that we would take it. The location is half away from my apartment and Sheila's: this allows us to be there within few minutes if needed. There are windows in every room (this is not granted in Florence) and both the kitchen and the living room look over a nice and quiet garden. The apartment is spacious and it allows the two rooms to get enough privacy. There are two bathrooms and the night area is separate from the day area from a door.
