Make sure to arrive in time to sink into your stay with a view of the sunset. Life is better at this cabin on top of Mount Andy. From the early morning sun flooding over the top of the ridge to the spectacular evening sunsets silhouetting Pinnacle Mountain, the views at Purpleaire are Spectacular!

In addition to the spectacular views, this cabin offers luxury accommodations with recreation inside and out! The bedroom features a king bed with the indoor jacuzzi garden tub and a television. Enjoy time in the outdoor hot tub and relax while listening to the sounds of nature. There is a game room downstairs with a pool table, WiFi, Streaming TV and a sleeper sofa for two guests. At Purpleaire, you just down the road from the Chattahoochee National Forest and Smithgall Woods State Park. It is also convenient to both Cleveland and Helen.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Purpleaire is a Luxury property and available to families or to guests 25 years or older.

Great experience

The cabin is wonderful. Great location close to Helen. Be aware that the road leading up to the cabin is very steep and may be difficult to traverse if there is snow or ice

Great Getaway

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at this cabin. It was close to everything that we wanted to take advantage of but far enough away to have true peace and quiet. The cabin was had everything we needed and the views were incredible. The hot tub was perfect after our long day of hiking. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint getaway.

Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful stay at Purpleaire. Enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. The house was comfortable and the hot tub was a nice way to relax. The owner was sweet to check on us. My only thing I would say is the bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. It definitely sank in the middle and might benefit from a new mattress - my husband didn’t seem to mind though lol. Other than that we had no complain. We enjoyed sightseeing, hiking and having fog fun in the city of Helen. Highly recommend the trip.

Your peaceful place

We loved this little house on the hill! It was perfect for my husband and I and our 17 yr. old daughter. Great energy and even greater views. Location to Helen and other things to do was very convenient. We would definitely love to return to the Purpleaire again someday.

Wonderful 25th Anniversary

Purpleair cabin was perfect for a romantic and relaxing getaway. The cabin is private, clean, and quiet; and the view from the bedroom, hot tub, and deck is beautiful! We enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We also enjoyed Helen, Ga, Smithgall Woods Preserve, and Anna Ruby Falls which were all a few-minutes drive away. The cabin had all we needed, and we stayed in our last evening to grill out on the deck and enjoy the sunset.

Fun in Georgia

We had a wonderful time! It could not have been better! Absolutely loved the place!! Got to even see a Black Bear play with our empty ice chest from the living room window, that was awesome! The view was incredible just like the pictures. Just a quick drive into Helen! We went there everyday snd enjoyed hikes to the fslls snd wonderful food!! One of the best vacations we have had!!

The view and the cabin are priceless if what you’re looking for is to get away, slow down and reflect on how fortunate we all are in this life. The Cabin is perfect in every regard. We were pleasantly surprised to see the new furniture on the deck which helped out greatly for an early morning cup of coffee and evening glass of wine after a wonderful dinner at 3 different restaurants (all within 30 minutes driving distance). The fireplace was a perfect way to wake up and during the 3 nights we were there, we never felt compelled to turn on the TV.

Best Vacation Ever

The rainy weather kept us close to the cabin but we did venture out to Helen, Dahlonega and Amicalola Falls. We even visited a few wineries along the way. On Sat, 2/8/2020 we watched the most beautiful snow fall. We received about 6 inches of snow and my husband and I hade the most amazing day. That evening the water was not working and so we contacted the after hours line. The nicest man reassured us that he would get our water back on within the hour and he did. He also stressed to us not to check-out early the next day because the weather report called for icy road conditions and he was concerned for our safety. We are from Central Florida so that information was very important to us. I will be booking this location again very soon and I have already sent friends and family the link to Georgia Mountain Rentals.

Well versed in taking good care of clients. The view is magnificent and the location truly can’t be beat but the house seems ..... tired. Very little effort, if any to keep it much more than clean and ready for the next renters.This is our second time at Purpleaire and again nothing can compare with the views. However, the cabin itself could use attention: A Purplaire sign at the entrance of the drive... looks like there might have been one at one time. Better lighting (a dark brown lampshade, really ?) or light bulbs replaced, even the nightlight bulb was dead.A nightstand lamp but on only one side of the bed...?Instead of the First People (not from North Ga) prints cut from a book or a calendar, may we suggest a framed topographical map of the area? That stunning mountain range is called Horseridge but we only learned that because we asked a local. Soup spoons in the drawer but only one smaller teaspoon? Same with the wine glasses.And just as a year ago, we asked Ga Mt rentals about having a place to sit down and eat (both inside and outside) that would have brought us back.
