Featured on HGTV's - Beach Front Bargain Hunt (episode 1108)! Sandwitches Cottage is a classic Carolina style beach cottage featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Each side of the cottage has a Queen bedroom and a Kids bedroom... complete with twin bunk beds and a full size bed. A Jack-and-Jill bathroom connects both bedrooms on either side of the house. All 4 bedrooms have wall mounted, flat screen TV's. TWO luggage racks are conveniently located in EACH of the 4 bedrooms (1 in each closet and one next to bed).

The center of the cottage features an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. Modern updates include stainless steel appliances, sea glass inspired backsplash and beautiful white quartz counter tops. A nautical chandelier and dual motor vintage ceiling fan adds to the charm of this classic beach cottage.

A large front deck, with ocean views and comfortable seating is a great place for families and friends to relax and unwind while enjoying morning coffee or an evening cocktail. A "pebbled" parking area under the cottage provides ample parking along with additional relaxation space perfect for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. You will find a picnic/game table (tic-tac-toe & checker board top!), corner bench seat with table, and built in tiki-bar counter with stools. A hand painted shuffleboard and hopscotch area along with corn-hole game provides hours of family fun! Adirondack chairs and 2 large hammocks encourage relaxation as you take in the salt air and ocean breezes. A large, enclosed outdoor shower (hot & cold water) is perfect for rinsing off the sand from a long, lazy day at the beach. Plenty of boat cleats and hooks to hang towels and bathing suits. The beach access is conveniently located just a few houses down on Shelby Street...a short 2 minute stroll! Close enough to the cottage for lunch and bathroom breaks!

Amazing location, just 2 blocks from the pier and center of town! Leave the cars in the driveway and conveniently walk to restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, beach shops or a fun game of putt-putt! Everything that OIB has to offer is in close proximity to our family beach cottage.

Sandwitches Cottage is a magical place that is sure to provide many wonderful memories of Summers spent with family and friends at the beach.

Second great stay!

I just love this cozy cottage! It is perfect for our families (two 4-person families). While many cottages are being sold and mega-houses built in their place, I appreciate this smaller, charming spot that is the perfect size (and price point) for a smaller group. Thank you and looking forward to planning our next trip!

Family vacation

Just spent a week at Sandwitches cottage and it was fantastic. Cottage was perfect size for family of 5. The place was fully equipped with several amenities. Close to the pier to either walk or bike ride. We enjoyed the ocean view from the deck as well as the games underneath. Outdoor shower was a huge plus too. Great communication with owner from Day 1. I would highly recommend this place!

My husband Mike is a firefighter and I am an elementary school teacher. We have 3 beautiful girls...Kaitlyn and Madelyn are 14 and Victoria is 10. Our lives are busy and our schedules hectic! We live in New York, 50 minutes north of NYC. Although we are a short distance from the big city (and love taking advantage of the proximity!) our home is adjacent to a 14,000+ acre state park. We enjoy the outdoors and spend weekends checking out the many hiking trails in our backyard! We get to experience the best of both worlds...the scenic country setting of our home in the northeast and the beautiful tranquil setting of our home away from home in Ocean Isle Beach! We jump at the chance to visit and with our work schedules we are so fortunate to be able to spend the amount of time that we do in OIB! Sandwitches' Cottage is much more than a vacation rental, it is our family vacation home and we are happy to share it with your family!

Why they chose this property

We started visiting the North Carolina beaches when our girls were toddlers. We immediately fell in love with the state and wanted to explore all that the coast had to offer! We started in Corolla and over the years have slowly worked our way down toward the border, visiting EVERY beach in NC! Finally, In 2015 we decided to take the leap and find our own little beach paradise! We were nearing the end of the state but nothing jumped out at us or felt "right". Feeling a little discouraged, we looked at the map and Ocean Isle Beach was next on our list... the second to last beach in NC. I remember going over the Ocean Isle Beach Bridge for the very first time and smiling...the view from the top was unlike any other, it was absolutely beautiful! This adventure felt different, it felt right! We found the perfect beach...now it was time to find the perfect beach home for our family! Sandwitches' Cottage was and is that special place. It felt like home from the moment we walked through the door. We are so fortunate to be able to spend holidays, school breaks and a few lazy summer weeks each year in OIB! The memories that we have made are priceless. We found our "home away from home"...Our Happy Place!

What makes this property unique

The ocean view! When searching for the perfect place, our number one criteria was that it had to have an ocean view (and close beach acess!). Since we planned on spending a lot of family time in OIB, I needed to be able to look out the window or sit on the front porch (enjoying my morning coffee or evening cocktail :) and enjoy the beautiful view of the Atlantic! We also wanted Sandwitches' Cottage to be a place that our 3 girls would want to spend a lot of time at as they grow older. It is the perfect location...we walk everywhere and only use the car when we go off the island! The decor is beachy and fun...it makes you feel relaxed and happy! We extended the living space to the outside by incorporating a fun game area under the house for kids and adults to enjoy!!!
