we love this because....

Happiness is a holiday by the beach and simply pulling into the driveway of HAPPY VALLEY will put a smile on your face. We love a weatherboard and this one is as cute as button with its topiary bushes at the entrance and its wide front verandah where we sit on a summers night.

We bring our family and our four-legged friends for an escape from the busyness of city life.

Pushing back the large bifold doors it allows us to extend the outdoors in with an inbuilt BBQ opposite the dining, it seems to make this cottage twice the size.
The kids run and play on the lawn with the dog (although he has his own kennel to escape them) and they spend the day digging in the sandpit or bouncing on the inbuilt trampoline.

We walk 15 minutes to Captains of Rye and love its laid back feel and quirky decor and eat outside if we can. Or for something special we always choose Steam Restaurant, you can't get fresher seafood. Pick out your oysters from the oyster tank.
In the summer the Rye Carnival is in town and no matter the age we all have fond memories of Fairy Floss and Carnival games you never seem to win. The water babes love a snorkel at Octopus' Garden under the Rye pier to marvel at the sealife from Weedy Sea Dragons to majestic Stingrays.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the lawn and my own house outside to sleep in.
And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Great Beach House

Really enjoyed our stay at Happy Valley. The house has had a fantastic renovation and is very well appointed & very comfortable. Would definitely pick this property again when staying on the Southern Peninsula

Fantastic property

Property was spotless when we arrived and had everything needed for a perfect weekend away. Backyard was great for our dogs. Overall a great experience and we would all definitely stay here again

A happy little house in the valley

What a lovely little coastal retreat. Beds are comfy and so warm and inviting. Very well equipped and clean and tidy. Great yard for the fur children (well fenced and grassy) and the fire pit a treat for those cold winter evenings. Easy access and good communication.

We had a great relaxing girls weekend. Everything ran smooth and was cozy and spacious.

The cottage was cute and cozy and inviting, qe had a great time. Especially loved the kitchen and dining area.
