In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 2, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This updated Kiawah Island vacation rental offers two bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious screened porch, and deck with a view of the park. The second-floor Parkside villa is just a 5-minute walk or quick bike ride to the beach.

The coastal-inspired living area features a sleeper sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs, a large flat-screen TV as well as access to the deck and screened porch. The dining area offers a table and six chairs, perfect for family meals on vacation. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, white subway tiles, two-tone cabinets, and has easy access to the main living space. Down a short hall are two bedrooms. The primary suite offers a king bed, TV, and private bathroom. The second bedroom features a twin over queen bunk bed, TV and private entry to the hall bathroom.

The lovely screened porch offers a comfortable sectional sofa and the open air deck features two lounge chairs. Both are great for soaking in the Kiawah breeze and views.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Great Place to Stay on Kiawah Island

This property had all we needed for a great stay at Kiawah! The home was clean and well-stocked. Communication with the property manager was great. It is just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach access and an even shorter walk to Nest, where we enjoyed nice breakfasts. If you have younger kids, the location is amazing. It backs up to the soccer fields and would be a very quick walk to the kids' activities at the Nature Center. Would definitely highly recommend!

Cleanliness of the property failed to meet expectations. I usually don't leave reviews, I just don't return. I will however use VRBO again just will not stay at that location.

We do work with our housekeeping partners to ensure that all of our properties are guest ready for every arrival, and it seems that we fell short of that for your stay. We did offer to have it recleaned as soon as it was brought to our attention, which was declined, as you wanted to enjoy your reminder of your stay. We have spoken about this with the housekeepers to ensure that it does not happen in the future.

My wife and I visited for a week in November, 2022. The property is clean and well stocked. The location is terrific. The exterior deck and screened-in-porch could use a little TLC.

We enjoyed the comfortable furniture on the screened-in porch. The only negative in the kitchen is the condition of the non-stick pans. Other pans are good. The location is very convenient to the beach, the nature center.

Good location for biking and a park plus ocean access

Overlooked a park. Quick access to nearby luxury hotel the Sanctuary. Book bikes for sure. Steps up to the unit but top door is quiet and has high ceilings and large decks and screened porch. Property mgt came out quickly to fix a few things like light bulbs or sticking door. Lots of texts and emails to make sure all was ok too. Plenty of space for yo to 4 people for sure. Family members have stayed in this unit before so we had no surprises being repeaters. Only suggestion is change from a manual lock box to a digits lock so all vaitors can come and go and not fumble with a punch box especially at night as the box is spark and hard to see at night. A Pkus would be a better speaker system for the tv in the LR for movies with bass or aubwoofer.

The soccer field (with Night Heron Park just beyond the field) is about 30 steps behind the property. The beach is a 6-7 minute walk away or about a 2 minute bike ride. We would definitely stay here again! It was cozy and inviting, and Akers Ellis is great to work with!

Reviewer Comments: this property was very nice, but you are being ripped off by the cleaning team. used band-aide stuck to one bed in guest bedroom. roaches in bath tub and where washer and dryer are stored. Mold on refrigerator door. Stove was dirty. Lightbulbs not working in hallway and in one lighted cupboard. the tracks on sliding glass doors were disgusting.the screened in porch was filthy. Too bad because 0ne can see the owners took great care in decor and other amenities.

Thank you for your feedback. We are terribly sorry to hear of any issues experienced during your stay. Unfortunately, looking through our records, it does not appear that we were made aware of anything while you were with us. I can confirm that the HOA facilitated their quarterly pest treatment on the day that you arrived. In regards to the other issues, I have passed them along to our team to ensure each is investigated and addressed accordingly. I am pleased to advise that the current guests have not reported any issues thus far, so we believe that they have been taken care of and will double check to ensure that is the case.

Great Stay

We loved the place and the location. It was perfect for a family of 4, including 2 teenagers. Being so close to Heron Park for basketball play and activities was great. Beach was a quick bike ride from this place. Love riding bikes over the bridge of water and checking for alligators. Thank you!

Just what we needed!

The property was in a great location- very close to beac , local store and Freshfield farms. Started off with a bang (thunderstorms) and ended up being a beautiful week. The property manager was very responsive to some minor issues. Definitely would stay here again.
