Great neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants and the university. Great recommendations from our friendly host of places to see and do. Bed was very comfortable and the room was as advertised. Would definitely stay again
The house was very clean and charming. I was looking for a place near downtown and all the hotels cost a fortune. This is a very cost effective alternative. It's in a great neighborhood just a short drive from the Parthenon, Belmont University, and many other attractions. The home is very clean and free of pests as well, which is something that I'm oftentimes nervous with budget friendly rentals. The only issue is the ceilings are quite short and I'm 6'5", but in an old building; This is to be expected. I'll surely be staying here for the any Nashville trips in the future.
Rhonda wasn't personally available to meet but the communication between was great and informative. Beautiful neighborhood. Kroger is about 2 and a half blocks away and situated very near the expressway and a few restaurants before you head downtown to Nashville's, Broadway Street.
The apartment was in a perfect location, not too far from the city. The neighborhood was quiet! Was the perfect getaway place. The host was amazing to work with!
For the most part a good stay. Didn’t realize it was upstairs. One Neighbor made a comment about having a young child. Probably good for 1 person and no children. Not able to adjust the air and it was very warm. Host was very nice.
Quaint upstairs studio apt. Very comfortable bed. Adequate kitchen, small bathroom but had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Convenient location to Vanderbilt. I would stay again if needed.
The location and price are hard to beat. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Front area a little cluttered. Older unit, def best for one. Taller folks- the doorways are shorter. scalped my head at night going to bathroom. I think due to unit being older and top floor hot air seems to trap in afternoon/ evening Woke up each night sweating. Not great sleep at all. Couldn’t turn AC unit below 71. Brought a fan from my daughter and that helped a little. Host was great and place was fine. Might stay there again but not in summer season.
This location felt safe, and the room was clean. Close enough to downtown and other off-strip venues. But if you are tall (I am 6’02), I would recommend staying elsewhere. The bathroom is TINY. I had to duck going under the door frames. The upstairs apartment was fine for just me, but the building felt run down and there was junk on the front porch (from ongoing repairs in adjacent apartment perhaps?). The neighboring houses were very nice, I kind of cringed when I pulled up to the address. The bathtub faucet handles were very loose, but worked. The old floor (and some of the wall fixtures) were woefully slanted, but perhaps this is the charm of an old house in Nashville. It just wasn’t for me since I am not quirky or necessarily a budget traveler. It is great for someone younger looking for an adventure and on a tight budget, but if you’re looking for a place where the floors and walls are square, this isn’t it. I do appreciate the hostess as she was helpful and responsive. Again, it was clean and comfortable. I’m just used to chain hotels.
Just needed a place to crash for the night and it was absolutely perfect for that. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Easy to find, easy to get in, easy check out, and host answered the phone immediately when I called.
